I needed an estimate for a concrete repair and rebuild. Eric came out in a timely manner and was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and able to explain the project from start to finish. t I received a contract proposal that was informative, specific and had a reasonable price range. Royal placed 9 piers under one side of our foundation several years ago. We were given a lifetime warranty on their work if we had the foundation inspected annually for $100 by Royal. After 2 inspections we called Royal to come out because a wall crack was separating again. Leroy did the inspection and acknowledged they needed to do warranty work. I called Leroy multiple times thereafter and Leroy never returned my calls. I am now having other foundation problems in another area but I do not know if the new problems are associated with old ones. I paid Royal $8,000, and they left us hanging for about 2 years now! So much for the lifetime warranty! I am preparing to report Royal to the Texas Attorney General.

I had a very good experience with Royal. It looked like the workers did a fine job, and knew what they were doing. My one and only suggestion would be to have a representative or supervisor from the company to check on the foundation piers before they were backfilled. But I would still recommend Royal Foundation to all my friends.

Prompt, quick response, very fair quote. Worked with me on pricing, met me where I wanted to pay. A few set backs on getting started due to weather and a Holiday... but it got done in good time. I had concerns with one area, felt that it needed to come up more, and they did. Only issue was one area outside where they filled their hole with concrete and the concrete did not "set" well - but it had been raining and wet outside which did not help. Otherwise, Eric Cantu and office staff (Lacey) were all very professional and very attentive. The company did what they said they would do and in good time. No complaints.

I received quotes from two other foundation companies - this company, without knowing it, was right where the other company quotes were, but offered a bit more. Nasty weather and Thanksgiving aside, they got the job done in good timing, kept in touch with me along the way, and cleaned up well afterwards. I have no complaints.

Long review ahead! For those who don't want to read it, I recommend Royal Foundation! For those looking into more about this process, please read on. So let me begin by saying that we had five foundation repair quotes before finally moving forward with Royal to correct the slab foundation on our 1960's home. Our home is in an area known for bad, clay soil. It expands when it rains and contracts when it's hot. Eric, with Royal, was the only consultant to come out, work within a budget, possibly addressing addition fixes in the future *if needed*. Eric came out three times over the course of two weeks. He did not use scare tactics like many of the other companies did. He did not bad mouth the other companies and many of the other consultants did. Instead, he was patient and understanding and answered any questions we had. He walked us through the project and what to expect. Once we signed the contract, the crew started only a few days later. This was such a relief for me because I was already panicking that our home was going to fall into an abyss. It wasn't that bad, of course, but Eric was quick to reassure us that it would be fine. We actually ended up adding three more piers than Eric originally suggested because we were able to afford them (this was due to Eric working with us on the price). And during the process, an extra pier was added free of charge because of a miscommunication. The installers found an additional pier was needed on an odd corner after they started digging. Rather than go to the trouble of removing the pier, Eric told them to add the 11th pier free. The crew that came out was very polite. They dig holes around the base of the home with a shovel, installed the steel piers under the edge of the foundation and covered them with concrete caps. They added metal shims between the concrete caps and foundation to fine tune the levelling process. One crew member came inside on the final day, taking elevation measurements as they added the shim

The pricing was very reasonable and they did what was needed to repair my foundation. They showed up when they said they would and completed the work as they predicted. What I liked the best was they repaired only what needed repairing and did not recommend anything else beyond that. Other companies wanted to perform significantly more work and of coarse at a much higher price. I would use them again if needed.

I requested and received quotes from 3 foundation repair companies through HomeAdvisor. I ended up selecting Royal Foundation. Eric came to visit and did an in-depth inspection and offered the best solution. These guys did an amazing job from start to finish. Eric is very friendly and looks out to make sure the customer gets the best bang for the buck, he's always accessible and stays in constant contact with the customer. Royal is my go-to foundation company from now on.

I am very pleased with the turnaround time (2 weeks from first contact to job completion) and price paid for the leveling of my pier and beam foundation.
