As a 1st time pool owner I don’t know what I don’t know. I felt it started out good but after the 2nd week, the pool guy never showed up on the day and time frame he was supposed to, instead of communicating he wasn’t going to be here on his assigned day & time he showed up on Saturday morning (next day). Of course he didn’t communicate and say “I’m coming tomorrow” nor did he ask if I would mind if he brought someone with him. I didn’t say anything the 1st time but the next week after that he didn’t come on his assigned day and time again and showed up at 8:00am Saturday morning he didn’t communicate and showed up again with a girl. So I called the owner and he didn’t know that his employee didn’t come on his assigned day or that he showed up with someone with him and (she was standing around in my backyard.) I was obviously upset that his employee was taking liberties with my property, bringing people to my home with no communication or permission, and not sticking to the contract that I agreed on. I told them not to come back and he immediately called his employee (while he was in my back yard with the young lady) and a few minutes later the girl was back in the pool guys car and about 15 minutes later he was gone. A few days later I noticed my pool pump had not turned on and my pool water started turning green (which made me wonder what the heck they were doing for the last 3 weeks.) I hired a new company who is the real deal. When the owner of the new company came he said that ALL THE SCHEDULES HAD BEEN DELETED out of the system that’s why my pool pump hadn’t kicked on. So his employee retaliated against me because I would not allow him to do what he wanted to do on my property or show up when he wanted too. When I called the owner he made a whole bunch of excuses, he said “his employee don’t know how to delete my schedules cause he had not trained him on that yet.” Everytime he came he would be pushing buttons on the panel that houses the schedules etc. Soo you sending someone unqualified and untrained to my house to mess with a $40,000+ pool, pushing buttons and don’t know what he is doing? Hell that is so much worse! The new pool company came in cleaned the pool, tested the chemical, alkalinity etc and my pool had no chlorine in it at all (never saw the old company test the water like that) , and the other levels were off too. I don’t recommend this company to my worse enemies! They are not respectful of the contract they agreed on, not respectful of your property, not respectful of your time, not respectful enough to communicate or ask permission to bring others and when you call them out on their level of unprofessionalism the company is operating under and the employees are allowed to retaliate. The owner will NOT take ownership of his employees behavior instead he makes excuses. There is a saying used in the Air Force, “ Excuses are tools of incompetence used to build bridges to nowhere and monuments of nothingness, and those who use them seldom specialize in anything else!” They should be ashamed!!!!

We love Royal Pool Care and love working with Blaine the owner since we moved to The Woodlands nearly 10 years ago. We have gone through at least five pool companies until we found royal pool care. As a very busy real estate agent in The Woodlands I am happy to refer all of my new incoming residents to Blaine as well. The service is not rushed to get to the next house. They take their time, test the chemicals and the equipment, wash off your pool decking and make sure the space is clean before leaving. They are always very respectful and send a follow up email with a photo of your cleaned pool.
