Ruben's Landscaping

The weeds were not removed NW of our barn. He claimed hey worked 5:00 am - 5:00 pm, not possible, it is dark here until 6:00 am, they showed up at 7:00, I deducted 4 hours off the second check. I told Ruben to put the weeds in my 96 gallon trash can & 2-50 gallon cans & set it at the oad, I pay $4.50 a week to Bruin trash service, Reben charged me $25 to take weeds to compost. It is $5.00 a pickup load.

Did a very good job

I was pleased with Ruben's work and will hire him again for future projects. He came on time. He finished the project on our agreed time, a cement walking path with crushed rock on the sides along my house, and he trimmed my bushes and removed two dying shrubs.

Ruben gave me a quote of $500.00. He started putting the valve in before the water was off, which flooded the yard and surrounding area. My son had to help him for 3 hours. He left and returned when the water subsided, and did the work. He refused to clean up the mess until I had an argument with him. He left and returned the next morning demanding $1100.00 for the work, he said that the work was more then he knew. I said he created the extra work by not waiting for the water to stop. Then he started telling me how expensive his bills are, and I owe him. He changed the amount to $900.00. Which I paid. This was the first time I used Angi and have never left a review, but, this was a nightmare disaster. I hope no one has to deal with this person, ever.

Fast and efficient

Ruben was easy to work with, prepped the project efficiently, and completed the project in less than a week. I'm more than pleased with the result.

I bought a house in Grand Junction in August that was all rock in the front, side and some in the backyard. I wanted lawn and sprinkler system, with drip system for shrubs I will be planting this year. His quote was reasonable and he did a wonderful job! He was a very hard worker, and did everything I wanted done. I have gotten so many compliments from neighbors that I am recommending him to them for their projects this Spring.

Since moving to Grand Junction I have experienced a whole different level of customer service than Iâ m gonna send to. I donâ t get responses to e-mails or phone calls, businesses say they will show up for quotes and never come, sometimes they come and look say that they will send a quote and never do, and the list goes on. But Rubenâ s Landscaping was great. He called said he would be here in 40 minutes for a quote, and he was. The quote was fair for the job needed, trimming up 2 badly damaged trees from the snow storm. Then he showed up the next day with his employee at the time he said he would. He worked quickly, cleaned up great. Super friendly! Iâ m. Having him back for more work! Thanks for great job.

Did not show up on time. Did not call to let me know they would be late. Gave a later time and still no show. When they did show they did not have the equipment to do the job. Very disappointing.

He is a very good worker.
