My wife and I have lived in this house for nearly a decade, many things have had to be repaired and updated, and after years of remodeling work, the one thing that is always dreadful is looking for contractors, which at times has have been very frustrating, scary, and probably, the worst part of the experience. Until we found Rubens Remodeling. Ruben and his team were incredibly professional, tidy, respectful of the other areas of our home, always on time, and great communicators. Each portion of the work was detailed, and properly planned, the plumbing has been the most professional work I have ever seen, the tiling is pristine, precise and clean. The crew members had incredible attention to detail, foresight and knowledgeable of their craft. They were not in a rush to finish and jump onto the next job, they were committed to do a great job and they did, outlining what would be worked on each day and giving a proper forecast so we could also plan along. They make sure that whatever you need to get done, is done to the best possible quality on their behalf, taking time to insulate pipes and properly level walls and floors, advising on the best options and further actions for after care. We now have a beautiful new shower that we frankly did not even think was possible from a very long ago built-in bathroom with an awful metal tub and dull cream tile. We cannot recommend Ruben enough and his work was worth every penny. Stop wasting your time with people who do not show up, demand estimate fees, leave jobs incomplete and leave you feeling frustrated. Go with Rubens Remodeling and you will not regret it!

Ruben and his team completed a full kitchen remodel in less than 1 week at our home. The remodel started with some demolition work (removing counters, cabinets, and sink). He and the team then completed updates to the floor and walls before installing new appliances, cabinets, and counter tops. He and the team also completed a subway tile backsplash and electrical work. The work was high quality. The team was on time everyday (8:00 am sharp). We love the kitchen and the efficiency in which the project was completed. Ruben was very communicative throughout the process and helped with other projects in the house such as installing light fixtures and curtains. Ruben's Remodeling is highly recommended. We will use them again for future projects!!

I contacted 5 contractors to get an estimate on replacing the countertop in the kitchen and updating the second bathroom. Rubens was the only one who gave us a detailed estimate. His cost was very competitive and included everything. No surprises. We told him what we wanted as a sink, faucets, vanity, shower door, etc. He placed the order and went to pick it up. The work was done perfectly and in less time than I thought it would take. Even my client was amazed. Rubens is an honest guy. His work is impeccable. He was on time and on budget. I will be using him many times in the future for my clients rentals. I recommend him 100%.

The most professional, honest, punctual and friendly crew we've ever had. Ruben's team did it all in our place: 900 sq ft tiled basement floor, tiling the fireplace, kitchen's back splash and drywall patching. They started with the basement floor, and we were VERY impressed with the quality of the job, so we kept asking them to work in other areas. The quote was VERY reasonable, and we are very happy with the results and the amazing quality of their job. Ruben also had great design advises on what material and what cut would look better, and we truly appreciate it. Would definitely recommend them and will use only this team for all our future needs.

I highly recommend Ruben and his team! I live in NE and own a condo in Chicago and he helped me with repairs due to a riser replacement project from afar. I needed to have one wall of shower tiled, vanity tile replaced, paint updates and other random fixes. He visited the unit, sent me photos, purchased materials and fully repaired the bathroom. During the project I had even requested a change and without question he said absolutely and factored it into the cost. He was extremely responsive and had excellent customer service. I was beyond impressed with the quality work and timeliness of the project. It's stressful to encounter repairs in general, but living in another state and having to fix them gives high anxiety. However, once I got in contact with Ruben I knew I was in good hands and my worry ceased. If I ever need any repairs in the future I know who to contact!
