Rudy's Carpentry & Painting

At the outset, I obtained four quotes for the work which included replacing one staircase, all railings and a few support beams and a few deck planks that were rotted. Of the four contractors that came out to visually inspect the deck, Rudy was the only one to recommend replacing all three staircases as he explained to me why they weren’t built correctly and he also recommended replacing all 16 of the support beams as the existing ones weren’t to code. The deck is 35 years old. Not only did he provide his expertise on what work was required, his quote was more than fair for the work he performed. His work is exceptional, clean and professionally managed. I recommend him highly. I’m

Rudy has been great to work with. He handled several projects for us - deck rebuild & staining, preserving fence & gazebo, new split rail fence, and several small touch ups that in total make our house and backyard look fantastic. Rudy and his team were all pleasant, professional, and skillful craftsmen and we'll have him return for a few additional projects.

My apology on the typo of amount paid for wooden banister and railing! It was $1800.00 NOT $180,000! Thank you. Denise C

Rudy was both professional and personable from start to finish. We needed a wooden railing + banister installed in the basement. This was a rush job as well! In order to close on a refinance by a specific date, this had to be done. Rudy was accommodating and helped us meet this deadline. We will be hiring him for other jobs we need done. He also does snow plowing!

These guys were fast and professional. I had them hang shutters about 30 feet. They hung them perfectly level. What I did not know was there were hornet nests behind both. This did not stop them. They disposed of both nests and didnt flinch. These guys are professionals, they are bonded and insured, and most of all honest hard workers. I highly recommend them. I will be hiring them again.

Rudy and his team assembled my dock on a Saturday. I couldn’t be happier. They hit it out of the park! Thank you Rudy!

I needed to replace my garden shed as it had extensive critter and insect damage. Rudy did an outstanding job in replacing the shed, putting down a concrete base and building a solid structure. Everyone who has seen it is impressed. Thank you again Rudy!

Rudy and team did an amazing job! Wonderful to work with. Replaced my basement stairs. Very knowledgeable and skilled and got the job done quickly. Strongly recommend!

As this was a small project, I understand there was a slight delay in scheduling the work among other proposals. But repairs were completed expeditiously and the workmanship is sound.

Rudy did a great job on our patio and fence repair. He was on time and professional throughout the project.

Rudy and his assistant arrived when they said they would, they worked together nicely and were very pleasant to have about the house. I am very pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend. Also, Rudy kept to his quote for the job.

We hired Rudy to replace our rotted basement window sills and our rickety basement stairs. We are quite pleased with the results of both projects. The basement stairs, especially, turned out to be magnificent. Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to hire Rudy for future work.
