Sophie refinished 8 pieces for me. One piece was from the 1940â s, four pieces were from the 1950â s, one piece was from the 1960â s and the other two were from the 1970â s and they all look gorgeous! She took her time refinishing the pieces and sent me pictures throughout the entire process. I plan on using her again in the near future. I would recommend her work to anyone.

We are very pleased with the refinishing Sofia did on 3 bookcases this summer. My husband's father who was a cabinet maker made these bookcases for him when he went to college in the early 1960s. As you can imagine, they were in pretty rough shape having been used all these years, and moved cross country into several homes. Sofia understood their importance as family heirlooms and took great care in refinishing them for us. In fact on one of them, where there was a cut out for a heat vent, she put a small heart in a little darker stain to signify the sweet memory. I had mentioned when we dropped off the bookcases that I wished the cut out could be filled in, but my husband objected because his Dad had cut that out specifically for the room it was going into. Sofia checked with me before doing the heart, but we kept it a secret until my husband saw it. Very sweet idea.... Your heirloom furniture will be in good hands with Rural Hill Restorations. We're so happy we found her and will not hesitate to have her refinish other furniture in the future.

Sofi with Rural Hill always goes above and beyond with the quality of work and customer service. This my second time hiring her to paint furniture and she breathed new life into a battered old bakers rack. I am so happy we get to make use of it for many more years and make it more aesthetically pleasing and modern.

From start to finish, working with Sofi of Rural Hill Restorations was an absolute pleasure. I had a vintage wrought iron patio set with severe weather damage that needed lots of love and she made it look brand new. Sofi's communication was always clear, and she made sure to send frequent updates on her progress. Her pricing was more than reasonable and completely fair given the level of professionalism and skill she displayed. Don't take your restoration projects to anyone but Sofi!

Sofia at Rural Hills Restorations was so great to work with. She provided great service, picking up and dropping off my headboard and foot board. She stripped layers and layers of paint on my iron bed. Then she primed and painted it a beautiful off white as I had requested. The work done by Rural Hills was excellent and I am so please with the outcome. I will definitely use Sofia on future projects. Very satisfied!
