Rush Security & Alarm

Working with Rush security has been highly disappointing and mediocre at best. We had multiple missed appointments with their technician until I put my foot down and said I'd cancel service if they did not show up. He started to show up after that, but just for a couple days and in my opinion still did subpar work. At first, the alarm system would not register away, only "stay". Then the doorbell camera was constantly ringing even when no one was there. The motion detector also does not work. Next, we paid $400 for equipment and a $75 monthly monitoring. I wish I would just gone with Ring because they are cheaper but I wanted to support local. When we asked to cancel we were told we'd have to pay a 1400 cancellation fee to recoup the loss of having an electrician come out and for the 'low' $75 monitoring and to buyout the contract. Initially, we were told they offered no contract service, which was the only reason we went with them. I did the math and that 1400 fee would total out to about 1.5 years of subpar service. No thanks. We took the loss but you do not have to, go with someone else or just install your own alarm

We are still e-mailing about a couple things, but I would say that overall I am satisfied.

Everyone was very helpful with our needs as well as the professionalism displayed while they mounted the camera's and put in the alarm system. Awesome techs and Zane was on point in making sure everyone was on time as well as scheduling when we were able to be home. Couldn't asked for better service.

This was my first experience using HomeAdvisor. My call was taken by Wendy who described the process of working with Rush Security through HomeAdvisor. After hearing the problem, Wendy put me in touch with Stan. Stan was on another job but indicated he likely could get to me around 1:30pm. Around 1:30pm he called to tell me he was on his way. He was able to correct the problem in the Security System, which was not arming. Overall I had an excellent experience.

We (the company) have just today signed the contract. No installation or service yet. But I really like this company and believe we are going to get a great connection. The owner is very knowledgeable and likable . I have the utmost confidence.

Great job overall--Stan was very helpful and customer focused. Jeremy, the technician, was very thorough and demonstrated a great work ethic--really experienced as well.

I was very pleased with the whole experience. I appreciate the quality of equipment, EFFICIENCY of service, and friendly customer service. From the beginning, every thing went smoothly and the job was done within the week. Since I live in a small town, there is no one who will install video camera surveillance system. I was impressed that they were willing to drive 8 hours one way to do this job.

Stan was extremely responsive; called Servicemagic on Saturday morning and within one hour Stan had contacted me and set up an appointment to give an estimate that day. Before the day was over he had the estimate, we agreed upon the install and price and 911 set up installation for a week from the following Sunday because that was the only day we could be there. Excellent communications, conscientious, friendly to work with and gives you great piece of mind. A+++ Servicemagic was also very friendly and responsive.
