With 25 years in the construction industry, and countless honey-do projects, there isn't much I can't do or fix. Do you need a closet built...Russ'll fix it!! Maybe you have run out of space and are in need of a new out-building? How about new shelving in your kitchen, pantry or garage...Russ'll fix those too. I build and repair railing and decks, shelving and cabinets. I install windows, doors, siding, water heaters, or even complete kitchens. I'll renovate an entire house if that is your problem. I also install and repair air conditioning units, form and lay concrete, clean carpets, and I'll even put a detail on your car as good as any shop in town! I can fix your car, your yard, your house, just about any problem you can come up with....Let me know your problems. I'm a fixer...That's what I do. Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
We highly recommend Russ’ll Fix It!! They recently repainted the floors in our whole basement as well as replacing baseboards and ceiling tiles and a few other smaller jobs around the house. All work was done professionally and on time. The price was very fair for the work involved. Highly recommend!!

My first big project with Russ was adding a 12x24â  deck with steps to yard on the back of my home. It was a huge improvement!! He also repaired my front porch and repainted, did a hand rail for my garage stairs, replaced both toilets in my bathrooms, faucet in master bath. All kinds of small electrical repairs to include installing a light fixture in my dining room. The list goes on! This year Russ built a sun room on half my deck! It is incredible!!! I have been using his services for four years and highly recommended his company.

Deck or Porch - Repair
Needed my deck repaired and never liked my stairs going down the side of the house. Russell Fix It came up when an idea moving my stairs in a "L" shape, butting it up against the deck with three landings to break up the steps. They also widened the stairs. I love my deck! Drywall - Repair
I hired Russ to replace a section of cracked Sheetrock on my mother's ceiling. He inspected it, agreed to replace it, and quoted me what seemed like a reasonable price. He arrived as promised to fix the ceiling, but while I was not there, he decided not to replace the Sheetrock but simply to mud the crack. He convinced my mother that it would be better that way, and she did not know what to do, so she let him do it. Needless to say, the mud cracked again a few weeks later. I have been trying to convince him to come fix it for five months. He puts me off with I'll have to work you into the schedule, and then disappears until my next complaint, which is met with the same sorry routine. I spent a ridiculous amount of money for absolutely no improvement on the issue.

Wood Fence Repair
I hired Russ in 2013 to repair a portion of my neighbor's wood fence that was damaged by the overgrowth of my tree. Russ came up with a solution that did not entail replacing an entire section of fence. My neighbor was satisfied with the repair, and I was satisfied with the cost. It's now 2019, the fence repair is holding strong, and our neighbors are still happy. Thanks, Russ!

Seamless Metal Gutters - Repair
Very professional. When Russell arrived, he was very pleasant & courteous. I only expected an estimate since the appointment was in the late afternoon. He looked over my gutters, immediately identified what needed to be done and started the repair. I was very pleased with the result and that it was completed that afternoon before 3 days of rain. I will hire Russell again for my next repair/project.

Doors Repair
Russ was great! He called to come for an estimate. He was early and able to make the adjustments right away. This was great because the doors were so hard to open and close they were killing my "aged" shoulders! He cleaned up the sawdust and left the area clean and neat!

Russell Long repaired some rotted wood under vinyl siding on my home and addressed moisture intrusion, he was able to offer a number of different options for a fix and come up with a plan that would work within our budget and address the problem. He was easy to get a hold of and attentive to my phone calls and emails (I had initially contact him through homeadvisor.com). I highly recommend calling Russ'll Fix It for your home projects.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Competent, professional, friendly and particularly adept at kindly dealing with my 92-yr.-old mother, the owner of the house! They did a variety of jobs, working on plumbing ,painting, gutters, the chimney, laying slate tiles, etc. The work was excellent, they kept their workspace tidy, and worked through winter weather without complaint. I would highly recommend them!
