For nearly 30 years, S & A Concrete Construction, Inc. has been building and repairing the various concrete needs for industrial, residential, commercial and municipal customers throughout the Tri-County Area. Driveway
S & A originally poured my driveway in 2017. Within one year the driveway was falling apart. When asked about repairing this, they said I would have to pay for it. It took five years, in 2022, for them to repair the original driveway. The next year the driveway was falling apart again, but worse. When I called S & A for them to come out and look at it, they said they couldn?t help me. I look at other driveways that were poured in my neighborhood during the same time period ,and they look great. They use poor products and their workmanship is poor. They do not stand behind their work.

Outstanding experience! Highly recommend. Ben was awesome to work with -- a real expert, and very flexible. They even helped us move and replant a tree. They started the job weeks early, and worked over a holiday weekend to finish it up. Price was excellent.

When they talk about skilled trades, they're talking about this crew. These guys were artists!! I watched everything from breaking up the sidewalk and hauling it away to pouring the concrete and putting on the finishing touches. They took great care to make sure everything was just right. They were also FAST! I thought I could try doing this job myself and after watching them, I realized I was right to hire it out. They had the equipment and the expertise I could never have! Very pleased with the result. I wish I had done this job sooner! Looks great!

Concrete cracked in less than a year would not come back to address it

"We take the time to explain to each customer ,we do everything possible to prevent any cracking, we use quality materials ,rubber expansion joints and wire or fiber mesh, every job is inspected by a city inspector , we do live in Michigan and can not control the freeze and thaw cycle with our Michigan winters . Every proposal states that and is written that we do warranty up to the first of the calendar year ,"

I hired them to paint the exterior of the house - they did an excellent job. They powerwashed, primed and painted. They also repaired and stained my back deck. I found the crew to be very nice and professional. They provided me with a clear quote, paint options and worked with me on the color choice. They repaired a number of window trim as well. They cleaned up as best they could, given the amount of paint flakes around. I'd hire them again!

Our garage floor was cracked and sinking and we wanted to get it done to list our house. SA scheduled it to our benefit. Anthony came "early" and got right to work. The team was courteous and quick working. The job was done in two different days, but both times they came when they said they would and made sure it was done properly.

They were not able to finish the job on day one because of weather issues, but did come back the next morning to finish. The work was very neatly done, and the guys were very nice. They did exactly what I wanted done. I am very happy with their work, and will hire them again in the future.

They did a good job on the concrete but did not fulfill what was stated on the contract they never came back to mud jack the porch so be very careful on what they are telling you and what they actually do they do not honor a contract and what it states I wish they were more honest I was very disappointed Dominice and wish they would have honored the contract.

Wonderful from start to finish. I highly recommend contractor and Project Manager, Joe Vitale if you are having any concrete work done. I underwent a pretty major renovation of my front yard - had a 75 foot retaining wall built plus a new sidewalk and steps (new concrete pour + stamped) and a section of driveway re-poured. The outcome is phenomenal! My retaining wall and walkway look first rate. I found Joe and the SA Concrete crew to be professional and timely. Joe Vitale showed up for each consultation on time, made great suggestions on my project and completed the job right on time (end of April, 2016). This was a very positive experience.

Only good things to say about this company... We are very pleased with their services... You will not go wrong by hiring these professionals. We had a very bad experience with another concrete company and was actually fearful of hiring someone else but once we met with Joe he took all those fears away he did everything he said he was going to do and more. The whole team had it together they were hard working professionals kind and curtious and they did high quality work. I would definitely hire them again.

Could not be happier with a contractor. Ben was responsible, honest and reliable. He was on the job early with his crew and they did a very high quality, high craftsmanship job that involved driveway repair, light well repair and gutter downspout redirection using a French drain. These guys are the best. Will use them for another project in the spring.

We are very pleased with our new concrete front sidewalks and driveway. The hard-working crews were excellent and the entire project was completed very professionally. What we really liked was how Ben provided ideas as we planned our garage apron layout and Joe's solution to our front sidewalk grade. This was a costly project for us but we really got our money's worth.
