We feel so fortunate to have found such an able partner in renovating our historic home in Washington, DC. Kim & Jaime are an excellent team who combine top-notch customer service with the highest quality of work available. They worked with us to help us realize our vision for our house and now it really feels like home! The only drawback is that they are always juggling multiple projects so be sure to book them early... it's worth the wait!

Jamie's company was one of three that I got an estimate for an island cooktop hood install. I liked that he had high ratings, he sounded confident that this wasn't a difficult job, and his price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the work was not done properly. This hood vents directly up and outside. We have a vaulted ceiling. There was a rafter in the way of lining this hood up properly, but he said if it was slid back just a bit, it would be fine. We agreed to that...the knobs on the front of the cooktop don't need venting anyway. What we did not agree to was a vent that sat crooked by 6 degrees over the cooktop. To put it another way, each corner of the hood missed lining up with each corner of the cooktop by roughly 4 inches! They did not test fit the vent. They did not use a plumb drop or laser on all four corners or test fit the vent. Once it was up, it was up without them seeing that it lined up. Next, the exhaust outside was extremely tall...like it was a furnace exhaust. It was ugly and against HOA. We told him we were expecting a flush-mount exhaust vent. He told us that it was code to be that high. When we asked where we could find such code, he then said if it was flush, it would get blocked by snow. This is simply false. People in New England have flush vents for powered exhausts. He said, "look at your neighbors." Yup, we're looking at our neighbors. No one is like us! Next, the drywall work that was patched after running the electrical. It's terrible quality. Part of our house is not the best lit area, but you'd expect contractors to have shop lights. None were used. There's a ton of sanding left to do. I have better drywall jobs in my rental properties. Oh, and to top it off, the guys did come back to try to fix the crooked vent. Instead they just made it crooked the other way by 5 or 6 degrees. Jamie keeps trying to sell the idea that the rafter causes it to be crooked. He also told my husband that I OK'd it to be set crooked. Neither is true. I agreed to set it back to avoid the rafters. No one in their right mind would think it's okay to have a crooked vent and OK that idea. The guys tried to adjust it, and rotated the vent through what would have been the sweet-spot to mount it, and continued an extra 6 degrees. It's possible to have that vent line up properly. You just need patience and willingness to do the job right. We have black trim on our ceilings (which are wood--think cabin style). The guys cut one of the pieces of the trim too short and had the audacity to put it back on the ceiling. It falls short of butting up with the vent chimney by several inches. When I asked if that'd be replaced, the guy said "I dunno". Finally, a small thing was that there was no courtesy phone call to let us know they would not be showing up one day due to needing to get on the roof, but wanting to wait until there was less snow. I did not know they planning to get on the roof that day. I get that we are not your averag

Santiago's company did an excellent job remodeling my house. Jamie does great work and has an eye or detail. During the project we discovered numerous problems with the house. The problems included a wall that wasn't structurally sound, relocating pluming, and repairing a floor joist. Jamie and his crew fixed every problem and still finished on time. We went over budget a little, but very reasonable considering the extra work he needed to do. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Very professional, timely, great communication, and over all a pleasant experience.

We totally gutted the kitchen and bath in a condo built in 1925. Both projects turned out wonderful. Jaime and his team worked diligently and professionally on ever step of the projects. Including difficulties with the plumbing in the building. Jaime put us in touch with cabinet makers, title company's, and just made the whole experience easy and simple. We would highly recommend Jaime and his crew and we plan on using them on our own home in the near future.

Kim, the person who takes care of the scheduling is fabulous. She promptly responds to any questions or concerns. Jaime and his crew do a wonderful job. The project came in on schedule and on budget, and it looks nice. Jaime also has good design ideas. I am very happy with the results.

Jaime was a complete professional and handled the project with ease. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a thorough, well thought out renovation.
