Sam and his crew built a composite deck and roof on my residence. They did an outstanding job that exceeded my expectations. I would hire them again, and I recommend them to anyone who wants a job well done and at a reasonable price.

We had a patio enclosure that over the years shifted. We knew we had to replaced it someday. That someday came sooner when a large tree branch fell on it and damaged it beyond repair. My husband and I knew nothing about the construction process. We called around 10 different contractors. Sam Fortney SCF Construction was one of them. Sam stood out the most. He was energetic and enthusiastic. He had our estimate and design for a new addition within a few days. He was readily available when we had questions and even came to our house when we needed him to. When it came time to start planning and designing he sat down with us and helped us through the process. Sam and his crew were very hard workers. They arrived on time and stayed until the work was done. They were courteous and respectful to us and our property. We even got compliments from our neighbors who are hard to please. Our addition took about 3 months due to unfortunate weather issues. After being with Sam and his crew that long they felt like family. Our addition is now completed and we LOVE IT! We could not have asked for anything better. Our family and friends love it as well. My husband and I highly recommend Sam Fortney SCF Construction. We will be using SCF Construction again in the future.

We were very pleased with the meticulous construction of the deck. The craftsmanship was superb. We also had other work done by them, including some neat flooring work, that we were equally satisfied with.

Sam came promptly and gave a reasonable and fair quote to do deck repairs. He was great in communicating dates and times for work and showed up as scheduled. The fellows met the challenge of removing and installing a huge upper beam and repaired deteriorating boards on upper deck. The rod iron circular staircase was sanded and painted and new wooden treads were successfully cut, stained and installed. I am pleased with the results and would highly recommend this courteous, friendly and capable company.

The "S" of SCF Construction is Sam. He did the quote, gave us some good ideas and did the work. He finished in a timely manner, and did a similar project for my neighbor, who was also pleased. His price, I thought, was entirely reasonable.

SCF Construction repaired a small area of rotting subfloor in our kitchen, reframed a door to our deck, laid new tile floor and backsplash, painted, installed a microwave and rebuilt the cabinets above the microwave to fit, and assisted us with installation of granite counters and sinks. We wanted an updated look for our kitchen without replacing all the cabinets, and the finished project looks fabulous. Family and friends all comment on the positive difference in our kitchen and the high quality work that was done. I highly recommend Sam and SCF Construction. We hired SCF Construction to help us remodel our kitchen. To save money we opted to keep the oak cabinets, but wanted an updated look. Sam helped us with granite counters and sink, new stove and microwave, tile floor and glass tile backsplash. The result was better than anticipated. Sam and his crew were very patient with us, even when we added more jobs to the project. We are very happy with our new kitchen.
