We had Sure Clean some out to redo our tile in the laundry room and half bath. The field project manager came in and provided us a quote and discussed our options. We decided to move forward with the company and provided a deposit. They came in and started the tile work, took longer than expected but there were some things that needed to be addressed so not a big deal. The tile work itself was fine, no issues, but the project manager never came in to check the work throughout the install. When the tile was finally finished, the PM came in and was helping to move the laundry machines (6 months old) back into the room. He dropped the washer and put a huge gash in our wood floor and ruined the door on the washer. The entire door was scratched/scuffed and the door was pushed in so it's now concave and I can't pop it back out. I now have a dryer with a door that is convex and another that's concave...it is swinking at me every time I walk into the room...bonus. The PM never apologized, his response was that we really need to stop moving appliances, too much risk. He also said he would mail us a check for the damages and never followed through. I had our original flooring company come in to provide an estimate to fix the floors, I have 2 options, $600 to replace the boards with the expectation that it won't match perfectly or redo the floors for 1000s. Long story short, this job was terrible and we regret working with this company. I would strongly advise you to stay away. I have pictures and paperwork to back all my claims including pictures of the damage, an estimate to repair the floors, and the quote/payment to this company. I do not see a place to post them in Home Advisor so I've posted them on other review sites so others are aware that I am a real person with a real issue.

At the end of it all we would to thank you for bringing this to our attention, this certain individual is no longer on our team with us here at SC Masonry and we are going to use this mistake to better ourselves for our future, and for a stronger work team.

Project: Repair a Brick or Stone Fireplace (Non-Gas)
I hired these guys to repair holes in the mortar of my chimney, as well as re-fit a damper. The work was very dirty, but they never put down any coverings to protect my furniture or floor. They also never advised me to turn off my furnace, which ended up moving the dirty air throughout my home. I had no clue that that would happen. I have respiratory issues, which is why I reached out to this company, because I was getting smoke from neighbors chimneys through the holes in the mortar. After the work was done, I was having respiratory problems constantly. I ended up having to have another company come in and fix S. C. Masonry's mistakes, and to make my home livable again I would definitely not recommend this company.

My neighbor had work completed by this company and it looked wonderful. I needed a complete rebuild done on my home and was so impressed with what they did for my neighbor I decided to have them do the job. Shane and his office staff made sure to keep me informed about every detail from start to finish. They did excellent with matching my brick and mortar. I am so pleased with how my rebuild looks I am having them come out again to complete a few more projects for me. Highly recommend this company!

This is a terrible company. They were eager for my business. Promised a lot and made a sales pitch. But their work is horrible and their customer service is worse. Do not use this company. I requested a complete refund and they did not respond to my letter (nor any phone calls). Stay away, get a reputable company but not this one. This company is listed with home advisor and that is why i will likely NOT use home advisor again.

They charged me in advance for an assessment that the promised to do within 10 days, they took weeks and I had to help the guy to do the assessment, no value in their service.

I had them complete a chimney rebuild for me along with a few other smaller projects. My chimney looks great! The brick match was very good. Workers completed my projects in a timely manner. They did a wonderful job on clean up. Overall a wonderful experience. Will reccomend to my friends and will definitely use them again for any other services needed.
