Was immediately contacted by this company after we submitted the request to Angi, after meeting with 3 o4 companies we decided to go with them because they seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly and interested in starting the job immediately, we paid some I money upfront I for the material and date and time to start the job was scheduled, they started the job and near completicion, they requested to be paid with the remaining amount which I made, after scheduling to complete the job and them not showing up I stopped the payment on the check, the owner contacted me immediately upset and asked me why I did that, I explained that it was because the job was not completed and he along with 3 of his coworkers came out and were upset that I stopped the payment on the check, they were able to complete the job but they leave a hole in the drywall of the bathroom, they said they would comeback out and repair the hole which they never did, After the job was completed on quote we notice the tile was not leveled and when taking the shower the water pools on one end of the shower basin we were not happy with this the shower was still able to work, in the last couple of month I notice on the 1st floor below the shower salt there is a outline in the drywall of the celling you can see where the water is leaking, last week when it was cold I had to leave the on the tricked so the pipes would not frozen, when we came back from chiasmas break, we were able to there is stain in the drywall below the shower stall.

Got the job done; took a second visit because initial pressure test failed, but issue was resolved professionally.

This is a poor company to complete a job and not able to get in contact with them.

I contacted SDS to replace my pressurized sewer pump two weeks ago. Shane (or Seth, whatever he goes by) said no problem, just needed $1700 to order pump and materials, I could pay him the rest upon completing the job. I paid him, because I am an idiot. First red flag: he told me that we could call him every five years to replace our pump for free, and he would make a warranty claim with the company (regardless if the pump was good or not). He told me he was ordering an 840 (bidirectional flow, which I donâ t need unless I want to pump sewage into my house for fun occasionally) and needed more money... I told him to order the 820 instead, and so he wouldnâ t need more money. That was the second red flag. A few days into this and he tells me he ordered the wrong pump and needed to reorder. Apologies. He accidentally ordered the 818 instead of 820, apparently. Then after that says truck did not deliver... did not deliver again, next weekend, and the Monday after that truck still has not delivered. The entire time he keeps coming up with reasons why he has not shown up yet (son wrecked his company van, other customer issues, etc.) one excuse after another (excuses were free-flowing for this guy). Finally says he is ready to come out and replace. It will be tomorrow. Sorry, day after that. Then he calls and says his van was broken into, and would not you know, they took the pump! (Hahaha). The lies never stopped. Never. Then he says he will come out and install a normal non pressurized pump as a temporary measure (it will work for a while, he says, until a new pump comes in). What a joke. That was the tenth red flag. I gave him one more chance to show up. He never did. I asked for my money back (no functional sewer for three weeks now). I hired another company to do the job. He says he is waiting on a check to get me my refund. Says it will be the next day. And the next. Going to small claims court tomorrow. Guessing I will probably never get a check from this guy. Rest assured he probably does not have any money. I doubt I will see $1700 before the end of the year. My bad for being an idiot and trusting this guy. So many good reviews. This is not the company it apparently was three months ago. All I can guess is that it used to be run by someone else, or the reviews are fake. I will file with BBB.

I hired Shane in Early August to fix a broken sump pump and install a backup warning system. He came out and did the work and was paid in full. The day after the work was done the backup system failed and he came back ou and took the part out and said he would replace it. Over the next 3 weeks, he continually lied about when he was going to do this always blaming the warehouse or parts company for non deliver but never contacting me when he did not show up. After the 3rd time he promised to be there and did not show up I texted him saying I was disappointed but nothing any stronger than that. He responded with a litany of curses and said I owed him an apology? He then sent a text saying he would be glad to refund the cost of the pump $100.00 if I wanted. I agreed to that and then heard nothing from him until early Oct. when he texted saying the bill had fallen through his system and he acknowledged he owed $99.60 for the part and said it would be sent that day. 2 1/2 weeks later I called and he answered and said he would bring me the money to my office6 days later last Thursday 10-22-20 but again no follow-through. His total lack of professionalism and his constant lying is a red flag for anyone who is foolish enough to use him.

On 8/01/2020 fluid from the septic system backed up into the bathroom and bathtub on the lower level of our house, with the alarm not triggering. After several failed attempts to contact septic companies, SDS answered the phone, and they came out to open the cleanout and allow excess sewage to drain out. Our septic system is a low-pressure dosing system with the leach field nearly 30 feet higher than the tank, requiring a specialized pump. We had the tanks pumped, and on 8/6/20 the new pump was installed and we were told the alarm was repaired. The system came with a 3-year pump and 1-year parts and labor warranty. On 9/5/2020 the sewage again backed up into the house, and the alarm did not go off. I opened the drain myself and arraigned for the tanks to be pumped. The company representative was called, said he had a pump in his truck, and on 9/07/2020 installed a second pump. After installation, he told us that there was an electrical problem and the pump was not working. We called our builder, who came out to evaluate the problem. He had the electrical system replaced along with a new alarm. After the electrical system was repaired, he noted that the pump was having difficulty pumping. The pump on the invoice was a Zoeller Model E820 ($1,100.00), and the pump installed was a Zoeller Model 1261. This is a submersible pump sold at Lowes and similar chain outlets for $224.00. I called the store on 9/16/2020 and asked why the pump in my system and the one on the invoice were different. I talked to Shane Preston, the individual who installed the pumps. In between F-bombs, he said I was accusing him of being a crook, I should be grateful that he came out and did me a favor, he could charge anything he wanted to on the invoice, and finally, there was nothing I could do since the check was cashed. I told him I would file a complaint with the BBB and hung up. He then texted my wife apologizing for cursing and asking what he could do to make it better. She told him if he gave us the warranty money for the first pump and the difference between the value of the second pump and the one on the invoice we would not pursue it further. Further texts: 9/22/2020 Mailing your check today, will know about warranty this afternoon. 10/02/2020 I will take care of it Monday, my mother passed away and I have been out of town. 10/6/2020 get it to you first thing in the morning. 10/8/2020 the secretary took money from the company and did not pay any bills, give me until next Monday. 10/7/2020 I have not heard anything about the warranty. 10/14/2020 will have this job done and your money will be delivered to the doctors (my) office tomorrow. Today is 10/22/2020 and we have not heard from him or received any money in the past week. I contacted the individual who designed my septic system and purchased and had installed the appropriate pump.

This has been a very unpleasant experience. The shower was torn out and supposed to be replaced in two days. It has been two weeks and I still do not have we a shower.

Shane arrived on time and replaced 2 toilets. He was professional, skilled, mindful of cleanliness, removed and disposed of both toilets. He cleaned area under the toilets after removing the old ones. He had the right tools to do the job. I most certainly would use SDS again for any plumbing problem.

I hired SDS to come in and add plumbing for a shower in an existing half bath in my basement. They had fair pricing, said they could start right away, and said it would only take a day or two. Overall Shane did a good job, while he was there. He really seems like a great plumber but getting him to our house was difficult at best. Apparently it is a small company and there are only 3 or 4 of them so our day the job turned into a 2-week job. The crew would stop by for 30 minutes and get called away for a few hours then come back a few days later and work some more. Overall they probably did work for about 12-14 hours, it was just over a 2 week period. They would say they would be there at 8 or 9 AM and ultimately show up at 5 or 6 PM. In their defense, they said the state permitting system was down for a few days of the 2 weeks and Shane texted me with updates along the way. He also went above and beyond to help me install the shower to make up for the poor customer service in the beginning. As I said they ended up doing a good job but if you are in a hurry be aware it might take them a while unless they get their scheduling/customer service issues ironed out.

Jason went through all the house, said no leaks anywhere. He flushed the upstairs bathroom and the flap did not dropdown. He came downstairs and checked everything, he went to the basement, said no leaks anywhere, I paid him $125.00 for less than 30 minutes of work. He left and then checked the meter, called me to ask if I had water running, said no, he then said meter was running and he would have to bring out a master plumber and do a probe check, which would have cost me more money. A little later I looked down in the basement and saw he left the lights on, I went down and right off I herd the water trickling, I found the flap and fixed it - no more trickling sound. I called out another plumber and he found the leak to be in my drain hose of the water softener. I called SDS twice and the dispatcher tried several times to have him call me, he finally did at around 9:30 that night, he so much as called me a liar and said there were no leaks anywhere, and he was very rude. I asked for my money back and he said he would have the owner Chase Daff call me, he never did, so several days later I called him, told him what happened and asked for my money back. He said he would have to talk to Jason and call me back, he never did. What kind of experienced and ethical plumber flushes a toilet and walks away without checking it for leaks (unless he used it then just walked away) which is gross if he did, what kind of experienced plumber would not have you turn off the main water valve to the house to see if the meter stopped running? I guess any of them would if they were out to get more money out of you. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Looks like I lost $125.00 for nothing and still have to pay another plumber.

They were clean and wore a mask the entire time on the job.

Jason responded quickly and did what was needed at a fair price. Would use the company again.

We had a major sewer repair job that needed to be completed. There were complications with scheduling and weather but this company went **above and beyond** to satisfy our expectations. Connected with them early in the morning after finding our leaking water heater. Within 2 hours they had the new heater and were on site. After looking at the old heater they realized it was no longer up to code and they took the extra steps to ensure it was up to or exceeding code. Great crew, clean and courteous.
