S Day Blinds

The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and did an excellent job.

Paid them 4500 to install the blinds, very lousy job, they are falling apart.

Experience was 100% satisfactory. They showed up on time. Provided with a quote instantly and completed the delivery and installation before the agreed date. They gave me a discount which I used to buy additional products. I’m Extremely pleased with S-blind services.

DO NOT hire this person! Juan will be VERY eager to come out to quote and collect deposits... from there he will reschedule install multiple times. When he did install, he missed a window that was included in the total but not marked on his list ( clearly I have cashed check copies to document the discrepancy in amount due vs amount actually paid) When noted that a window was missed he promised to install within a week.( Sept 10) It has been 7 weeks ( Oct 26) and Juan will NOT show to finish the job. I spent 2 Fridays in row waiting for him ALL day as he had scheduled to complete both times.... NO show, NO call, NO response. I have also texted and called several times. He has read my messages and still will not respond to complete what has been paid for in full. I am now left with an incomplete job and family coming to visit which will be using the bathroom with a window that is totally exposed with NO blinds. I have opened a case with Home advisor and will now also be submitting a case with the Florida Bureau of Consumer Services Division who are very good with addressing unsavory business practices. Save your self the headaches and excuses with this man and go elsewhere. Its a shame, we actually had a lot more work for him originally and there's NO way we would consider it now.

Juan did an excellent job removing old verticals and installing new motorized shades in Condominium living room. Initially we ran into a few glitches such as floor to ceiling shade as “all in one” piece and the width and length of the valance and how to get it upstairs (7th floor) or in the elevator. This is an older condo and the elevators were not actual service elevators so they could not accommodate the length of the balance as one piece. Juan reconfigured the shades and divided them into two shades with two separate motors which functioned independently at no additional charge. I am grateful and Juan made the project look SUPER NICE!!

Run away from this person. This is a one-man-business that disregards time and quality. Showed up several days after my call to pickup my expensive blinds and returned a mediocre job a week after the agreed date. Very rude, threatening, foul mouth individual who asked for an up-front payment of 50% when taking my blinds and requested I transferred money to his bank account, for the remaining balance, the night before the delivery. When he showed up late, the next morning, he threatened me not give back my blinds unless I paid him first and insulted me in Spanglish. My white wooden blinds were dirty, scratched and had missing push-buttons. I called him back and was told by him, I have warranty and that he will comeback to leave with me the missing pieces. I have not seen him back ‘till this day. He also charges extra for for removing and installing the blinds.

Rep scheduled to deliver product and did not show four times. No show and no call. This was very frustrating. Blinds were eventually delivered and installed.

Juan showed up on time for the original appointment to repair a stuck cord. He did so in a matter of seconds, but showed me the cord itself and said it was fraying, which I could see was true (it is rather old), and that I should replace the track. He seemed honest and ethical and I agreed to have it done. He said it would cost $204 (not sure, but it was close to that amount. He asked for a $100 deposit and, stupidly, (I do take responsibility for this) I gave him the money in cash. He was supposed to be here the following Monday at 4PM. When he didn't show, I called. I got voicemail and left a message. No return call. I called again. This time he answered and said he'd tried to call me that morning to tell me the track hadn't arrived. I was home the entire day, received several calls, none were him. He said he'd be here the next day (today) at 10AM. Well, 10AM came and went. I called at 10:11 and got voicemail. Again, I left a message. Again, no return call. I called again. This time, he answered and said he was on a ladder and would call me back. When he didn't call about an hour later, I called again, and the call went immediately to voicemail. I left an angry message. It is now 12:27PM and he still has not called or showed up. I, however, have called HomeAdvisor and they are putting in a claim (for $100) on my behalf. Juan seemed like a very nice, honest young man. I hate to say it, but he is not. -- UPDATE: the work was finally done, it was done to my satisfaction, but dealing with Juan initially was not to my satisfaction. He was disrespectful and rude. His attitude changed by the time he left. I'd recommend his work but didn't enjoy working with him.

The only Problem was I was charged Taxes for Dade County not Broward. I feel I should have be advised that they are not a Broward County Company>

Very happy with this service! Juan showed up promptly, fixed the problem I called about, showed me another issue he fixed before it became a problem, and was both professional and friendly.

Although he showed up late, he installed blinds in the amount of time he quoted. Very satisfied.

There is nothing that I would have had him do differently - he was clean, neat, came when he said, did what he said.

They are very detailed in what they do. They were meticulous and the blinds look like part of the wall.
