SFI Concrete

Hired these guys in September 2016. Never showed up on time and always had to be watched. Luckily I had someone on the job site watching and making sure no shortcuts were taken. The outcome of the project was nowhere close to what was promised. They did not calculate enough concrete and ran out of it and had to pour a separate section that so obvious it's patched up. I spent $3,600 and it was a huge mistake. Biggest problem of all is 3 months later I received a lien on my house because SFI did not pay for the concrete company for the concrete poured at my house. Now I am being held responsible for SFI(Lance's) unpaid bill. I would not recommend at all. Hopefully other homeowners will not have to experience what I am going through. This is why I'm making a review so others can be warned.

Lance and crew did a great job, showed up on time, and did exactly what he estimated he would do.

Lance did a great job and was always quick to respond to phone calls or emails. It required a lot of surface prep (replaced cross tie steps with concrete) and he made it look good

We had a garage floor and a walkway replaced. We couldn't be happier with the service and the product. The owner was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and hardworking. He was involved in every aspect of the job, from initial estimate to completion. His workers were great, too. They were on time, and completed the work in one day less than originally estimated. They were very careful in each step, answered all questions, were very neat as they went, and at the completion of the job, and they went beyond the bare necessities to complete the work and leave our premises neat and clean. This is our best experience with a contractor ever!

Lance was very positive and prepared a fair estimate for walkway and front stoop instillation. His work was excellent and he's really enthusiastic about doing a good job. The colors of concrete he suggested were "spot on" and the stamped concrete looks great.

I found SF & I to be very accomadating,very professional,and worked hard to finish the job. i would recommend them to everyone. We had a 700 sq. foot, 2 tier patio done.

I was very pleased with every aspect of my dealings with SFI and Lance Johnson. Lance was quickly,responsive to requests for quotes and information. He kept me informed on timing and was where he said he would be on time all the time. The pricing and cost was accurately reflected by information in the quote and our discussions about changes along the way. Lance and Andrew are obviously pros at working with concrete. They delivered an excellent floor. It was clear they understand their process and have a high degree of technical skill with concrete placement, leveling, and finishing. Completely satisfied !

I had my basement floor redone. There was very old concrete previously. Lance and his team were great! They were very adaptable to my schedule and got the job done very quickly. The price was very fair as well. I love my new floor, it's exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend and hire SFI concrete again.

Initially I was concerned about hiring someone from another part of Vermont to remove a 50 year concrete patio and pour a new one. Lance is as good, no actually better then he is polite, respectful and knowledgeable. Not a single scrub was damaged and I have never seen a construction site left so clean. Outstanding work!!!!

We are extremely happy with the finished project. I'd like to once again comment on an outstanding performance by Lance and Andrew at SFI Concrete. Last fall they built us a beautiful Patio with stamped concrete. The fiished product was a professional gem. Sometime during the winter there was an inadvertent small fuel oil spill on parts of the new patio. It wasnt until this spring after the snow had gone that we noticed a change in the appearance of the finish. The fuel oil had caused a change in the texture. I notified SFI of the problem we were having. Their response and effort to rectify the situation was exceptional. Their prompt service and their professional manner in seeking the correct solution to the problem was incredible. In a very short time the patio was repaired to look like the original masterpiece. It truly showed us that SFI does stand behind its product and workmanship and cares greatly about the customer and the product they are providing to people. Thanks again Lance and Andrew for your dedicated service and restoring our patio to its original beauty. This is another 5 out of 5 stars performance.

Lance was very adaptable during the project. Despite very challenging weather conditions, he was able to complete the project on time. Great project management from delivery of product to completing the project on time. Lance takes great pride in his work. Lance and his crew work well together and are respectful to each other and the homeowner. We definitely plan to hire SFI for future projects.
