Andrew is very professional and informative. His enthusiasm is contagious! We knew we hired the right person as soon as we told him our vision for the second floor. The suggestions he made for the job were on point and the price quote was fair. His crew is courteous and respectful. They were on time the entire time that they were at our house. Andrew promised to have the demo completed, sheet rocked and moldings placed in one week and he came through! He got the job done as promised. Beautiful work. We are very pleased with the results and hope to work with him again in the future. We highly recommend him and his crew for remodeling projects!

I made 2 rooms into one to make a larger living room. Andrew gave me suggestions I wouldn't have thought of, like high hat in the room. And he never upsold me. If I said "do you think I should do this', he'd say "you really don't need that." I trusted him and he did a beautiful job. His workers were wonderful and took care of the job in a professional and timely manner. The job was completed quickly. There was a method and a timing to the work. Andrew was here every day to make sure of the progress and the quality of the work. If I could, I'd give them 100 stars. They were great and by the time the job was completed, they were like family. You won't go wrong trusting Andrew with any job you need. He and his crew are tops!

Andrew & his company provided high quality work in renovating my unfinished basement into a finely finished basement. The finished basement now serves as recreation space, storage, laundry room with available future space for a 3/4 bathroom. Andrew and his systematic approach, consistent customer communication, his staff's professionalism and no-nonsense craftsmanship makes him & his team worthy for serious consideration for any major home improvement / renovation project. Everyday he asked if they were any questions. He was accessible via text messaging. He was very clear regarding what I could do to keep the project moving in a timely fashion. And the assigned project was finished in excellent time. His crew started at the time they agreed to and they didn't cut any corners. They were neat & organized. They were not sloppy. Everyday, at the close of business, you could actually see the progression of the project unfold. You really get your money's worth with this company. The crew was courteous and they rarely asked for anything, except for my input regarding personal customizations. Andrew and his entire SI Maintenance Corp team deliver WORLD CLASS work. They helped us with an entire house renovation inside and outside. The work was massive: full new kitchen, remove walls, new floors and subfloors, new attic steps, entry-way, siding, pavers, roof, etc, etc, etc. We entered this massive project because we had 1,000% trust in Andrew as he had helped us renovate our basement just a few years back. You will be in amazing hands with SI Maintenance Corp. Andrew s team of construction magicians can make anything happen quickly and I mean quickly....at one point in time, he was coordinating 16 guys at our house with 3 dumpsters going non-stop. Andrew delivers outstanding quality work and never misses a beat. As you can tell, I highly highly recommend Andrew and his team. They are the best contractors in all of Staten Island!

I used Andrew to remodel my kitchen and bathroom plus deck my backyard. From the start Andrew was honest with us he always kept his word! the work his guys did was excellent! I trusted Andrew and his workers completely while they were in my home he promised that if anything went wrong he would be back to address the issue! well I had a problem and true to his word Andrew immediately took care of it and this is months later! He could have easily ignored my phone call like many contractors would have no doubt done! I recommend using this company for your home projects

Let me start by saying the workers were all great, the owner,Andrew, not so much. He takes ZERO responsibility or accountability for anything that breaks due to the work he is doing. When I first got my estimate, he explained to me that the bad review on HomeAdvisor was the customers fault, and it sounded logical-as I m quite sure he will say the same about this review. His initial price was slightly lower than the other estimates I received, and now I know why. He plays games with the contract wording and there are extras he charges you for but god forbid you ask for a breakdown of what the extras cover...to be specific, when he came for the estimate, I explained I wanted to move my kitchen downstairs and open up the 3 rooms upstairs and make it one big living room with a bar and fireplace-I did not ask for the fireplace to be installed originally just have the gas line ran for the future. The estimate I got was $36,500 (not including anything I needed to pick out i.e. cabinets, faucet, paint, flooring, dimmers, etc), included changing a window in the new kitchen-Andrew got the wrong siding and said it s close enough . I got a fireplace and told Andrew and he said they would install it for me. When it was time for the flooring to be done, Andrew said I was getting laminate when I clearly said hardwood, and here s where the problems began, extras -BEFORE the flooring was done, he said the charges for the extras was $5,000, and told me to have it with the next payment even the contract clearly states upon completion . I asked what it was for, and he said garbage removal was $600, the added cost of the floor difference between laminate and hardwood, installing the door I purchased, ya know, all the extra stuff we discussed. Andrew claims he would beat anyone else s prices, so I shopped around- I was told by the floor place that they charge $2.50-$3.sq ft to install, which would be less than $1,800, and for Home Depot to install the door would be $650. Garbage removal is $600 according to Andrew, so I figured the other $2,000 was going to the fireplace and whatever little things that werent done. When the guys Andrew contracted to do the hardwood showed up, they wouldn't even put the wood down on top of the thin old sub floor, something I expressed concern about for weeks leading up to this and was told don t worry about that it will be fine. It was not and Andrew had to put down new plywood, then wanted another $1,500 in extras which were to be paid upon completion as per the contract. He came to finish up last Thursday, got paid the $4500 owed as the last payment without the extras-No fireplace, electric issues he won t take responsibility for, broken dryer top since they used it as a ladder to do plumbing, broke the door he installed which now I m replacing AGAIN thru Home Depot because the locks do not line up and Andrew cracked the frame installing it and tells me this is what happens when u buy a cheap door , they broke 2 sets of blinds, reversed a bathroom door that you will not even notice but looks terrible. Then while I m on vacation, he starts BLOWING UP my phone DEMANDING the 1500, refuses to give me an itemized breakdown of the 5k in extras because u listen to me not what other people tell you name calling, and finally stalking my empty house taking pics of himself by my front door. He clearly cannot run a business if he s claiming he cannot pay his guys if he doesn t get the 1500 from me after collecting $41,500. Go ELSEWHERE-pay a little more-it will be WELL WORTH IT, esp if it s a big job that requires attention to detail. He told me they d be done by thanksgiving, I was w/o a kitchen and living room for 6+ weeks, Andrew finished but I m still w/o a fireplace and a few little things undone in mid December-I will use the workers again, but NOT through his company, altough it will be the same workers coming to finish the job t...

"Where do I begin, theres so many things to address with all the lies once again, the sad part is that anybody can write anything without having any proof thats the downfall of the Internet. To start off with what he says that I play games with the wording in the contract hes referring to where it says in my contract install laminate flooring, when it was time to do the flooring he said he wanted Hardwood I said we talked about it and its in the contract he says I played games with that but he clearly signed a contract and it says Laminate flooring. He talks about paying for extras, there were several things that he wanted extra and when they were done which was about in the middle of the job I told him how much he owes me he asked me on the phone what was the breakdown and I told him, he never once questioned anything, now in his review hes now telling me that these are the prices that he wanted to pay thats not how it works he shouldve questioned it when he paid me for them mind you he paid me for the extras Halfway through the job when the extras were completed and he then questioned them three weeks later when it came time for him to pay me the balance of the job because this guy try to play games with me at the end of the job. He also states that he has an electrical problem on one of his walls we never touched the wall that he has a problem on and then messages back-and-forth between him and I he acknowledges this but yet he wants to blame me for an existing problem but yet never said anything about it until it came time to pay me the balance once again he try to play games, He says he talked about installing a fireplace with me and yes I said at the end of the job we will then discuss it and I will tell you how much hes now saying that I said I was just going to install the fireplace for free and a custom mantle minimum thats $5000 but yet he wanted me to do it for free its not in my contract never mentioned about a fireplace it was just talked about to be talked about at the end of the job then once again this only came up at the end of the job when it came time to pay me. I even have in messages between him and I when I said Im going to be coming by to collect the balance of the job and he says to me Which I have an a message as long as the little things are completed you will be paid in full, so when I went there and completed some things touchups he didnt pay me in full he owed me an additional 1500 because he wanted me to put an additional layer of plywood on his subfloor and yes he knew about how much it was before it was done he never questioned it but now at the end of the job he tried to play games with me, so he ignored my messages About me coming to get my balance which prior to this he agreed upon paying me everything including the 1500 with no problem never once did he mention any problem and again I have the messages to prove it so after ignoring me for two days I absolutely did go to his house looking for my money which was rightfully do me and he agreed to pay me, When I sent him a message saying Im at your house to pay me he didnt answer me that night I got a message come and collect my balance the next day, if he in any way shape or form thought I was wrong or out of line for whining something that was rightfully do me and rightfully he agreed upon paying me in Messages he wouldve called the cops on me for harassment but he didnt do that because he knows I have messages to prove it different so I told him that I will never work for people like him again because he is a snake and he plays games with people and he actually got offended by that go figure ,"

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Andrew, the owner, will sweet talk you and tell you everything you want to hear. Once you sign the contract and see the work being done he will change his mind about everything you originally agreed upon. He demolished our entire first floor, took an unexpected week vacation, framed new walls and ceiling uneven (it was clean the ceiling was sloped and the walls were crooked), took space away from each room, tried to make our kitchen smaller, and refused to do a mud job to even our floor. When asked about what materials were being purchased, he actually told us he only buys the cheap stuff and anything over his budget we would have to provide. The project was expected to take 4-6 weeks to be completed and after 7 weeks, we had a demolished first floor with uneven framing. We had to fire him. He asked for a payment plan and received 70% of the overall payment. We still had no walls, ceiling, floor, stairs, kitchen, or bathroom completed. It was up to us to now find family and friends to put our house back together (we still are not done, 12 weeks later). We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and hire any other company.

"I guess it was only a matter of time that I run into a psycho path, all my other reviews speak for themselves, they also state the total opposite of what this woman is saying. For instance she says that all my work was incorrect and she was unhappy with it from the framing, to the sizes of the rooms, she even says that the walls and ceilings that I framed were crooked, if this was the case why would she have paid me 70% of the job if she was unhappy with my work, my jobs are set up ,that I get paid as I produce work so why did she keep paying me if she was unhappy with my workmanship let me tell you why ,because she is lying ,she also states that I told her I only buy cheap stuff, who in their right mind would say that to a customer ,nobody ,shes crazy I never said that. She was very happy with my man, me , and the workmanship , the job went down hill when it was Time for me to install the laminate flooring she wanted me to include it in my price which I dont like doing because homeowners need to pick out their own flooring but she wanted me to so I included a basic laminate flooring priced at $1.50 a square foot, when she seen it she didnt like it I told her she can buy something else and we will deduct my cost for what I included and she will pay the difference she didnt want to hear that, she wanted me to absorb all the extra cost when I refused she thew me off the job, I then get a message from her stating if I give her $7500 shell drop everything she was trying to blackmail me, Because 90% of the job was already done so she wanted to throw me off ,make me give her money back so she can make a family member finish the easy part of the job, and put money in her pocket I guess being in business for seven years I was due to run into a psycho path just read all my other reviews they speak in volume ,,!!"

Just the thought of renovations gives me PTSD from all the dust, shopping trips, and noise. My husband and I bought the house last April and being that the house is 40 years old, had a few things that needed fixing. Over the summer, we had a leak in the boiler room and it was not cleaned out properly. As a result, mold began to grow and the basement was pretty much unusable. When I called Andrew, the owner of SIM, I explained what our situation was and he explained our options. From the very first day that we met, Andrew was very thorough in his explanations and opinions. He and his crew were at our house every morning promptly at 7 AM and Andrew was always available to answer any questions or concerns. My main concern was keeping the house as clean as possible from the construction dust and Andrew did his best to fulfill our request. Andrews prices are very reasonable and the quality of the work is outstanding. I wish we had hired Andrew before to do our first round of renovations, as I had Andrew now fixing the work of our first construction workers. Andrew and his team really went above and beyond to complete our basement and finally make it useable!

Andrew and his crew were EXCELLENT! I have heard how contractors don't show up after a few days but that was never the case with Andrew. He was at the house by 7am every morning to get his guys on task with the job and then discuss with me the agenda for the day. He was very willing to work with us on any corrections that needed to be done in our basement to keep us satisfied. From day 1, the worksite was always left very neat and clean which was important since we still needed to use the basement to do our laundry. Andrew also discovered the reason for water in our basement and the next day corrected the problem which avoided future water damage in a brand new basement. Our job started the Monday after Thanksgiving and the only days Andrew and his crew didn't show up to work were Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE and New Year's Day to make sure that our basement was finished in the timeframe he promised. Our basement was an old school cellar and now it's a beautiful living space with a 3/4 bath, laundry room, living room and storage area. It's a wonderful before and after transformation. We were always in constant communication either via text or actual phone calls. We plan on using him on future projects. It's nice to have someone like Andrew in my contacts because I know I can trust him and his work. Trust me, if you hire Andrew you will not be disappointed.

Andrew, the proprietor exceeded my expectation . Work is professional and the manner of his approach to his customer is very personal. He is very amiable, and so with his crew who are courteous and respectful. There is a puddle of water in my basement the source of which is indeterminable. His first approached to fix the problem didn't work, but he wasted no time and meticulously tracked all possible source of the leak and his expertise didn't fail him and he fixed the problem to my satisfaction. The service Pro was on time and provided service in a timely manner. Pro worked very hard and showed up every day and checked in on anything that needed corrected making sure it was to my satisfaction. Came to work with crew daily letting me know what was going to take place for the day. Pro called me to tell me status of project to assure I was happy. Bottom line he was honest and didn't try to add projects or tasks that were not needed. Pro fixed previous work that was done to make sure I was satisfied with overall project.

Andrew and his team were INCREDIBLE! Andrews work exceeded all of our expectations. We have worked with a lot of contractors in the past and by far, Andrew and SI Maintenance Corp set the bar for world class service, knowledge, thoroughness, quality, speed and expertise. Andrew was at our house every morning by 6:30 am ready to give us status updates, explain the next steps, answer any questions as the work was evolving and help us see the next steps. Throughout the project, we had a few changes which he always was able to accommodate and make all of our ideas even better. We hired SI Maintenance Corp to do a major house renovation and practically gutted our new home. Almost every area of the house was renovated. Andrew and his crew arrived on time everyday and the project was completed in the time frame he said it would be. Some of his crew are even perfectionists and I have a strong appreciation for people who pay attention to the small details as well. I especially love my new kitchen from top to bottom. Came out amazing. Anything I questioned was attended to immediately by the next day. Very neat and prompt crew! Andrew was very reasonable and worked within our budget without us feeling like we couldnt accomplish the projects we needed/wanted to get done. They did a great job. Will definitely call Andrew for future projects. Highly recommend!
