First, I have never, ever given an extremely bad review as the one I have to give S&J Lawn Care. Being the daughter of a Contractor/Builder, I should have been leery to hire a company that was titled "Lawn Care" but, since I had faith that "Home Advisor" listed them for the repairs my home needed, my confidence to hire them was put to ease. Since I was present for the material quote (amount of materials needed) I was much aware that they over estimated materials needed in comparison to what was used !! Their first attempt to do the roofing and addition of 2 downspout to the front porch was so bad that when I showed my husband what was done and required to pay for before job completion he went ballistic, to say the least. And although I okayed the roof repair with asking many questions about it, I just will not be able to continue this review in writing!!!! Home Advisor needs to call me for my review to be completed. There is just to much to say about this with this business cutting corners, dishonesty, and the put-off with completing the job in a timely manner. # 859-684-7265 / Sincerely Linda Motley

Work was done well. They were on time and went right to work. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to my flower beds and what needed to be done in order to get it ready to plant.

I always admire young people who want to work to earn money. While Julian has a full-time job, he does yard work after his job in afternoons and evenings, and weekends. He was personable, handled himself in a professional manner, and did all I asked and did a nice job, cleaning up after. He exuded trustworthiness and honesty. He was accompanied by his step-father but I'm not sure if that's always the case. Lawn Care is difficult to find and I'm thrilled I found Julian through Home Advisor. So far, Home Advisor is batting 1000.
