She showed up, was going to do the work same day. I paid the agreed fee. She went to buy the lights and returned to start the project. She then had to leave as she did not have the proper equipment, an extension ladder. She texted later the same day she was having trouble locating the ladder but would be back as soon as she found one. It seems if you were in business to hang outdoor lights you would have an extension ladder. I saw the lights that she sort of hung the next morning when I left the house. They were not what we had discussed at all. I wanted large but she was hanging mini. I texted her with the problem. The answer I received said she didnt know who I was. I explained then found out it was her daughter responding as she had been in an auto accident the previous night and was badly hurt. Yesterday, I sent another text only to find out she has had brain surgery and has no memory. While I am sympathetic to her problems and wish her a speedy recovery, I have ask what will be happening moving forward. I am not sure whether to think this is truly a huge misfortune or a huge SCAM. Am waiting to find out. Any suggestions?

She is always thorough and efficient, she does the job on a pretty quick amount of time.
