I hired SKJ Tree Service to remove a tree in my yard. I told Seth that his equipment would not fit through the narrow ramp leading from the driver onto my lawn. Seth agreed to find an alternate entry to the tree location. The truck and chipper arrived early on August 2- 2022. The truck pushed the chipper onto the narrow ramp. Extensive damage was done to my retaining wall. Seth left after the tree removal without telling me his crew damaged my retaining wall. He is refusing to pay for the damage. SKJ also cut a tree in my neighbors yard. The crew destroyed his lawn by dragging the downed tree through his yard.

"We did have permission from John the homeowner to bring equipment on the lawn. Secondly we asked for a written quote on damage but failed to provide us with one. Only shot out a number. We were and still are willing to work this matter out. Going on here to blast someone just shows the character of John. Please if you are going to bash us please tell the truth. And John post the picture of the contract that you signed that tells the full story."

Seth and his crew are professional in every sense. I had 2 big oak trees taken down, one hanging over my neighbors garage and close to power lines. They took extreme care not to drop anything more than a few twigs on my neighbors property. They raked up twigs on the ground and blew sawdust off the driveway. I also had them split the wood and now have a good supply oak to burn in our wood stove next year. Price was very reasonable considering obstacles and having the wood split. This is the second time I ve used SKJ, I ll use them again and highly recommend them.

Seth and his team arrived on time and completed the work in little more than 2 hours. We had several large trees trimmed back to the property line, 3 trees removed as well as the trimming of several other smaller limbs in the back of the house. All the men were professional and polite. The price was fair and they did a good cleanup as well. We will have them back again for spring trimming.

Payed them for the complete project. Did not finish, left me with a mess, buried equipment in wood chips, branches and wood everywhere. Sealed contract with a handshake, took money and ran. Have to hire another company to finish.

Seth and his guys are unbelievable. I had 5 big oaks, one of them a massive double-trunk, literally about 90-100 feet tall and all leaning toward the house. I literally couldn't sleep on windy nights, worrying about these things. It took me almost 2 years to find someone who wanted the job. (Most other guys, after taking a look, never called back to even give me a quote.). Seth was also the only guy to give any advice, saying if it was his own house, he'd do x,y,z. (The other guys, while eyeballing these things, just said, uh, what do you want?). Seth brought in a giant crane, two dumpsters, a huge chipper... He had everything planned out. We're talking houses, fences, a shed, kids playscape and trampoline... Nothing got touched. Unbelievable watching these guys work. All the neighbors were taking pictures. Extremely fair price for a really big job. Sorry for the long review but want to let people know how good this crew is.

They were very reliable. They performed the removal of a large ash tree from the front yard. They gave a quote and stuck to it. It was half what two other quotes were. They came and removed the tree at the agreed time. They cleaned up afterwards. Completely satisfied.
