Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
This job was begun over 2 months ago, but has not yet been completed. Mike (S&L Foreman) promises but doesn't deliver. He or his crew is too busy, they take on lots of jobs and try to stretch themselves into the next job before they finish the first one. Mike accepts responsibility for errors and damages (there were plenty) but it requires patience to wait for repairs and corrections to get done. I chose S&L because the bid was low, but the frustration has proved to be a high price to pay.

Under budget, installed quickly and professionally, good listeners, they were in and out and there was no mess. If I had another house I would re roof it with these guys. Excellent job in matching existing roofing material. ***** or of *****

Wood Shake or Composite Roofing Installation and Replacement
Slow to respond, did not always take notes on what upgrades I wanted to have done to the roof. I would have spent more money on addtional roof upgrades... Never responded to follow up e-mail messages but responded to direct phone calls. Good news -once started they were very fast to rip and replace roof. Roof looks quite nice. Local area hit very hard with hail - all local roofers were back logged 2 - 3 months. Overall price was fair.
