Very poor communicator. Was told the work would be completed within a week and 4 weeks later it was finally done. The work itself was very well done; however I had to beg frequently for an update or a status.

Alessandro was very personal & caring. The chair we had done was my Mother's she is 93. The fabric samples were all so nice it was hard to choose. Mom picked out a very good quality one & Alessandro , made the chair look fabulous. We are enjoying it & get many complements from Family & friends that come to visit. I would recommend, Alessandro to family & friends. The 2 year warranty, is great, shows he is really interested in keeping his customers happy. Mom & I love the chair.

This is an update from my initial review. Everything that I initially said is true except the pride statement. Alessandro does good work when he does it. Unfortunately, in October he walked out of my home with a leaf of my dining room table for final polishing. I am still waiting for its return 3 months later. (Through both Thanksgiving & Christmas family dinners!) Alessandro has had a series of excuses including out of town work, medical issues, supplies house closings, tool theft....and finally loss of the leaf! The list goes on. He always apologizes for missed appointments, as many as 2 per week, but the apologies are empty. This man does not honor his word. Stay away......he does.

"I did a repair for only $200.00 because you providing the material for replace 6 tiles in slate 2 tiles was 12"X12", 4 smaller tiles 4"X4", i trim off the grout line , clean and replace the broken tile, glue back the tile and grout. Before i did the work i say to you can the floor was install wrong ! * The sub floor is not bond with the wood floor Behind. * They use cement Thin set to glue the slate. * They use cement Grout. * They never seal the floor. * They never seal around the edge of the floor. My repair not fix all this problems ! The best think for you is to re install the floor but is out of your"

Emanuel was very friendly and professional; he did the repair at my home in a timely manner. He gave me a 24 month warranty which is unheard of. my wife and I felt comfortable with him. We even talked, and had a cup of coffee together. Good guy.

Alessandro Restoration has had my sofa and chair since 3/12/15, today is 6/19/15. When we signed the contract, he promised to have work finished within 6 weeks. As you can see almost 3.5 months later, I still don't have my furniture. I have listened to excuses upon excuses why he has not finished my work. He put other jobs ahead of mine and admitted it. I am so frustrated with him and I will NOT use him again and I will NOT recommend him to anyone else. Very unacceptable business ethics. I don't know how to rate the work quality because I have not seen it.

She received her sofa Well done with orthopedic seats for free , New back foam for free (I publish the pictures of the finish product ),with 5 years warranty by Jun 19. Alessandro Restoration & Upholstery called and set a time to come by and give an estimate. Price was good so I hired him. He did the work in a timely fashion, was very polite, and more importantly did a great job repairing this recliner. He made it look brand new.

I posted a review earlier, but someone the rating was not what I meant it to be. I would definitely hire Alessandro again, and plan to. I believe he is a meticulous craftsman and he repaired our antique chest beautifully. My only concern was not being able to contact him for a few days. I now have his mobile number and he responds promptly.

The estimate was great and he showed up exactly when he was supposed to and he worked diligently until the job was done. He was very concerned about what I wanted and what I wanted the final job to look like. He explained in detail every step; however, I did not know the steps, but my level of knowledge was limited. He did an excellent job and I am please with my floor.

There was an area on my bedroom dresser that had the finish eaten away by some chemical that left a spot about the size of a dinner plate all the way down to bare wood. The dresser is one I purchased before I was married and I have been married for 47 years. Alessandro came and restored the piece and now it is as beautiful as the day it was purchased. I would highly recommend him for his skill, patience and sincere attitude to satisfy his customer.

I can't rate him on anything because he has not completed the work. Even worse than that, I haven't been able to get in contact with him and neither has HomeAdvisor. So it appears as if I am out of a custom sofa and $1000 fabric deposit. I am beyond disappointed in Alessandro and HomeAdvisor. I chose him because of some of the ratings on this site.
