I have an older AC system that wasn’t working efficiently. It was cooling but not very much or venting well. The guys came in a timely manner and serviced the unit. I was concerned about having to get a new unit, but it just needed servicing. The guys were great and explained everything to me. I would definitely recommend them and use them again

I called Sosworkservices last week wfore the heat wave , lne of our 3 units was not working , Rob the owner sent Rich a service tech to check it out , he found tbe system was low on refrigerant , our systems are 20 years old , but in good shape , Rob gave us the option to repair or replace the unit we chose the repair , Rich was able to find the leak and get us back up and running , we are thankful because we have our grandkids for the summer and saved us money , next day 105°F thank goodness for Sos.

HORRIBLE/HORRIBLE/HORRIBLE - DO NOT RECOMMEND I GIVE -5 (NEGATIVE) STAR I bought a house which had oil heat and no water heater and central AC. I received few quotes from multiple HVAC contractors and one of them was SoS Services, Springfield, NJ. SoS wasnt the cheapest but the owner, Rob, seemed very promising so I gave the work to him. My biggest mistake in 2024. We got under contract at the end of October and I have been asking him to put the permits for the work since then, it is Dec 19th today and him or his company has not put in permit paper work to upgrade my home electric, installing new duct work, adding new HVAC and Water heater, installing gas lines inside the house for kitchen, laundry, water heater and HVAC. Gas company is waiting for the inspections report for air test on gas lines which are still not installed before they can put the meter. It is Dec 19th today and weather has been very cold this year in Dec. Work still not completed

Rob and his expert technicians were exceptionally professional and extremely knowledgeable. In addition, they were very efficient and cleaned up the work area every day. Communication was also maintained throughout the entire process.

The company replaced our old gas furnace and AC unit with the new ones. The job was done right, in the promised timeframe - one day. Everyone we dealt with was highly professional: punctual, provided written detailed estimate for the job very shortly after the first visit, explained how the job will be done and answered all our questions, left the place clean, gave us all documentation for the new units. People were very cordial , pleasure to deal with. They are true professionals - they are everything you want to see in people working in your house. SOS installed my gas boiler and did a great job and were on time and very clean. I would highly recommend this company for their realistic prices and ease of dealing with.

We have two HVAC systems. Last spring I realized AC of the newer one did not work. Got a few estimates, everyone quoted the whole system for various reasons, except SOS. They pointed out the coil is compatible with current standard refrigerant so only need to replace the condenser. Took their proposal and the AC was fixed at a much lower cost. A month later, the AC of the older system also broke. Its coil was not compatible with new condenser so must be replaced as well. This time everyone quoted the whole system. SOS cost is much lower and we had a good experience with the previous job so the decision was a no brainer. The job was again done in time to our satisfaction. Admittedly both jobs had some minor issues. But they quickly sent technicians to fix them after we found out some time later so I would still recommend them without any reservations.

They came and cleaned my ac blower and condenser, they did it quickly and with quality! And the individual who came was a genuinely nice guy!!!

Rob and team were the most responsive of the three contractors that I'd contacted for this project. My Central AC system replacement project was very complicated due to number of systems (4) and the tight spaces involved. I received an honest and transparent quote, and SOS stuck by that quote despite complications that made the complete installation take longer than anticipated. The team assigned were terrific (John, Louie, Geo, Stalin) - hard working and knowledgeable They worked well together and were sometimes creative in solving issues. Overall, a very good experience.
