Write a ReviewThey charges almost $500 just for walking in the door and then said they couldn?t do the repair because they didn?t have the part. I had told them over the phone exactly what part they needed. Left me without hear for 3 days. Caused me to loose 2 days work with no heat waiting for them to do the repair. They put in a $100 pipe, did not cement it into the wall as should have been done and then charged over $900 to my credit card without any prior notice or explanation for the charge. Still no heat. They wanted to sell me a new boiler. I called another company who repaired the boiler with no problem and only charged $125.00. RCL was disorganized about sending a repair person, coming with proper parts, could not diagnose the problem correctly, tried to sell me expensive replacement that I did not need and seriously overcharges, and charges your card without your knowledge or permission.

When our technician Matt responded to your emergency call, he found dangerous levels of soot and a broken smoke pipe, indicating serious safety issues. The initial charge included our after-hours emergency fee and diagnostic service. The subsequent repair visit involved installing new smoke pipe components and performing essential safety tests. During these tests, we discovered carbon monoxide levels over 1000 PPM (safe levels should be below 50 PPM). Our recommendation for a new boiler was based on these dangerous CO readings, not a sales tactic. While we understand your frustration with the charges, our primary concern was your safety. We followed standard safety protocols and documented all findings. We're glad you found a solution that works for you.
Their customer service can only be summed up as poor. Their home office was unable to contact me between 9:30-11am M-F for nearly two weeks to make a deposit. When an employee destroyed some holiday decorations and didnâ t tell us it was handled very poorly. When I asked their GM Stephanie if I could speak to her boss she replied â I can TRY to get him to call youâ . No need Stephanie. Weâ ll never use your company again. ð

From the moment I called RCl it was a fantastic experience! The girls on the phone were wonderful and genuinely cared about my issue I wa having. They sent a tech out the next morning and he was wonderful. So respectful, knowledgeable and fixed the issue. I signed up for there THCC membership and will be using RcL moving forward!
