Vincent installed new HVAC at my house in July 2015. Since then we are waiting him to get the Township permits. He is been avoiding to get the permits done. We keep following up with him and every time if he picked up the phone he would make some lame excuse or promise. Till today he didn't even completed the paper work to file for the permit. We tried to reach out the township on our own but this kind of forms need to be submitted by licensed HVAC contractor only. Not at all professional. Would not advise anyone to hire him.

He said the job would be complete in 5 days, it took months. He would go MIA and not answer phone calls. One excuse was that he went down to the shore, instead of working on my house or even letting me know for that matter. The work was 90% done, he was 90% paid and then just stopped answering phone calls and has not made an attempt to contact me. I am having difficulty now finding someone to finish and so far the people that have looked at the work done say it all needs to be redone.

Please do not hire him, will not do any servicing, will not return phone calls, inferior work, you name it.

We had a A/C system that had a freon leak. Vin looked at this and advised us that since the system was very old, we needed to replace this. He provided an estimate for a Trane system and we decided to proceed. He completed the job on time. Less than a year later, the system stopped functioning. We contacted Vin and he checked out the system. He found that there was a leak in the system, same as prior to the replacement. He put a leak plugging chemical in the system. We asked why the system was leaking when the initial problem was the same and we replaced the system to fix that issue. He said that the freon pipe from the condensor to the coil was not replaced. He never advised us that this needed to be replaced upon initial install. He also became very abusive, stating that we did not want to pay full price but expected perfect service. We never bargained on the price and had accepted his estimate. A month later the system stopped functioning again. We contacted Vin repeatedly but he did not respond. We had to get another company to look into the issue. The freon was leaking again. We were advised that the problem was a sub-standard install. The connections were leaking. Also, Vin had overheated the valve in the coil, and this was going the reduce the life of the system significantly. The company also said that they had never seen such a shoddy install. Please stay away from this company. His work is sub-standard, his warranty is meaningless and his behavior is rude.

I have 45 years of construction experience and it was a pleasure to deal with this contractor. I have dealt with many contractors. He was professional efficient and honorable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Vince.

We are very happy that we chose Vince from S&S Heating and Air Conditioning to replace our old furnace. He was very helpful in helping us choose the right furnace for our 3 level 2 floors and basement single a/c zone home, explained us the difference between different types of furnaces and then installed a good brand system at a very reasonable price with a good complete parts and labor warranty included, added a 5 inch thick media filter, repaired some minor issues with air ducts and is also taking care of permit paperwork. He was on time, there were no cost overruns and overall handled things professionally.. New system works a lot better than old one and heats up the house much quicker. Good job!

Came in on time and within the Budget he said it would be. There was a small leak after he had completed, I called and he came right over and went though the whole system found the issue and corrected it. He give a very good warrenty. I will be telling others who are looking about him.

S&S Heating and Air Conditioning installed a central air conditioning system and furnace and relocated my return. Vince is the company owner and did all the work by himself. He did a great job at a fair price. The air conditioning runs very well and keeps my home cool and comfortable. It is very obvious from my experience with S&S that Vince takes pride in his work. He took extra time and got all the materials needed to do the job right. I recommend S&S to anyone who needs HVAC work.

Vince installed an AC, furnace, and furnace humidifier for us this summer (2010). He performed the installation himself and completed it on-time. He provided a 10-year parts & labor warranty. While the A/C and furnace work fine, the humidifier does operate irrespective of the humidity setting. We have been calling and e-mailing Vince for 2 months but he hasn't returned the phone calls or replied to the e-mails. We have filed a complaint with the NJ Attorney General.

I had a new a/c installed late last year, Vince was very professional...installing them according to terms and giving as some advice. I was surprised that he worked alone but I did not mind that as long as he can do the job well. The unit wasn't really tested last year because it was almost the end of summer season. This year (2010), when it got so hot and humid, we turned the a/c on and it did not cool the house, it was just giving us the air/fan. I called him and he came, added a little freon to it and promised to come back. The a/c still doesn't cool, been calling him since May 31 until today 6/10, never come by or a return call. Regrets!!

Vin from S&S was very professional in his work ethic. He came in on the expected date to look at the unit for AC replacement and gave a "NO HIDDEN EXPENSE" estimate. Ones we agreed on the pricing and the model for AC unit, he came in the next day to install it and did his job professionally. After he was done, he cleaned up the basement area where the AC unit was installed. He was a thorough professional throughout the task. I would definitely use his services again in future.

Completely unsatisfactory. This was the worst experience of my life. Due to how long the project took, I was unable to enjoy the holidays. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this company. I wanted to give 0 stars but the software requires something so that's THE ONLY REASON he got one.

Vince was great, called right away, came and gave a wriitten estimate sameday. Came with the furnace on the day he said and had it in in one day.We have an old house so there were problems fitting a new system in and Vince stayed with us all the way.He has called back and checked on us for the last 5 days, couldn't ask for a more honest and caring contractor. Vince is quite knowledgeble about AC Units. He suggested me a very good unit and started the project on a very short notice. He completed on time.

Vince did exactly what he proposed and stayed on the agreed price. He just did duct work for me tapping into an existing heat source. He provided a good value for the price paid. He was neat, punctual and helpful with his suggestions. I would use him again.

I was very pleased and impressed by Vincent he was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what he was gaining to do +++ he also did not try to hustle me, he did not try to sell me something I did not need.
