I have been waiting for a quote from this gentleman for over two months. I even emailed politely asking for his quote. Extremely friendly gentleman, hard to pin down on a time to come to look at the project. We finally found a time. While I am flexible, the first meeting I waited around for him from 5-6, texted around 5:50 that I had to leave at six for a dinner reservation and his text back it was just a busy day and needed to rescheduled. I was annoyed but it was ok. The rescheduled meeting went well, he was personable, professional, and he knew his stuff. He said he would get a quote to me the following day. Here I wait over two months later. He waisted about a month of my time/project completion time (trying to actually schedule and meet). On top of an additional two more months wasted because I am still waiting for a quote. He had it in the bag, I wanted to give him my business. I want to give him credit that up until the inability to give me a quote, it was a good experience. If he can't give me a quote, would he even deliver the service? That will be for you to figure out. I am using someone else.

Shawn responded promptly during all phases of our outdoor fireplace masonry repair, answered all of our questions, and kept us apprised of the progress. From start to finish, the only delays were caused by the weather. The repair looks great! I would highly recommend him.

Shawn completed a retaining wall for us and did a great job. We had faith in his knowledge and expertise, and knew we could trust him to do the job right. In fact, he did a superior job than the contractor we had hired who began the project. He was honest and easy to work with, and gave us a quality finished product that we are pleased with. We would have no doubts in hiring him for future work.

Our project had many components from fireplaces to significant brick porch work. Shawn and team performed well through each phase of the project in developing a personal relationship with us and consistently seeking to ensure the quality of work met our vision as well as high standards he set for himself and company.

They did the work in a timely fashion, cleaned up well at end of project and were congenial, fun to work with. We plan to use them again for an additional project in future. Shawn is very reliable; we recommend him highly.

Shawn was the first one to respond to my Home Advisor request but I selected his service based on his friendly demeanor and responsive communications. He worked me into his schedule months before any other vendor. He and his team were detailed and diligent in their work and my chimney looks beautiful. It has been a thorn in my side for years and I am finally relieved to have it repaired. I am happy to say, I will have S&S Masonry back for more brickwork on my house next Spring.
