To start, I would not recommend this company to anyone. This contractor was not prepared to do the job as we expected. SS Painting did not use any kind of covering for furniture or carpets and the result was paint on everything including many paint stains on my carpet. Broken furniture from moving Bed and TV cart. They set the TV back on the stand and never told me or my wife what had happened. Prep work like spakling holes and lumps on the walls was incomplete. Edging was horrible overlapping on molding and adjacent walls. Streaks brush marks can be seen clearly.

Todd the salesperson we signed with told us he would take good care of our home & as we were not there all the time we trusted to give our garage key to him but he left our home opened to the public overnight . he advised that the job would be finished in 4 days and it has been over 1 month now & its not finished. we told Todd we were not going to let him into the house without us being there so he told us he wl be there on 9/9 & 9/10 but he never showed up

They just started today, but so far I am very impressed with S.S. Painting. I look forward to the job completion with excellent results. Thank you for your terrific service!

They were never on time. They had no idea how to hang drywall, spackle, or paint. There were parts of the project that were never completed. The used rollers that sat out overnight with dried paint on them so now my walls have big chunks of paint on them. They painted over unsanded spackle. They stole some of my tools. They drank beer on the job. About a week after they left, I found a 5 gallon bucket of urin in the closet. When I told them I wanted a $150 deduction from the bill, they agreed and then charged my credit card the full amount. Stay away! I had to hire someone to come in and fix every wall and ceiling that they did.

They were never on time. At the initial contract talk, give you one price then try to charge you more later on by telling you that was a mistake and they were not really paying attention. Well they broke my 6 month old ladder, ripped up a bathroom fixture which cost $62.00 and the ladder was $75.00. When they finally did I was promised a gift card from Home Depot to replace the items and I'm still waiting. I will never ever use them again

My husband and I are so impressed with this company. Not only was the quality of the finished job better than we expected but the attitudes and overall nature of the team's personalities were outstanding! They were so kind and courteous and always maintained a professional approach. We would definitely hire this company again for any future painting needs.

we were satisfied with the outside of our home and decided to have them do the inside so we will wait and follow up once the job is 100% complete!

All in all I was pleased with the way the painting of the interior of the house turned out. I was not on site for the entire painting job and saw it 3 weeks after it had been completed. There were a few minor things which I think they could have done better which would have gotten them an excellent rating but all in all they did a decent job. Both Scot and Larry were great to work with but I found they needed better communication among themselves. I would definitely recommend them.

Paint work was, for the most part, excellent. S&S Painting are a freindly and nce group of people. Trim work was deplorable and unsatisfactory. I cannot stress this point enough. I hired "proffessionals" since I am incapable of doing good work with my hands. The work S&S did one my trim looks as though it were done by a child in places. Drywall work area was left a mess and work is still incomplete. Paint was oversprayed onto newly finished flooring. Several deadlines for completion were missed.

They met me immediately to qoute the project, completed the work on time (actually exceeded my expectations on timeliness), and provided quality service for the right price.

Great service. Very courteous and professional from the very start of giving an estimate to completion of project. In less than a day already getting compliments from neighbors and will recommend them to anyone looking for high quality and professional painters.

These guys did a good job, they worked quickly and with quality. I would use them again.

The pressure washing was so so. I had to get on my lower roof to sweep off the rust chips before they painted and had to wire brush areas they missed. They missed an area they primed also before they painted and they didn't come the day they were supposed to come. We also didn't care for the bid they gave us. One guy gave us a good price, his partner went a lot higher so they met in the middle to give us a higher price which was still good but we don't think you should do business that way. The first bid should've been the bid.

Overall we were very pleased with the performance and quality of work that we received from S.S. painting. The project involved restoring and sealing our cedar sided vacation house. The project started as scheduled and then ran into some minor problems. It became evident that the initial approach to the project would not produce the desired results. S.S. Painting was quick to identify the the situation and communicated it to us promptly. We worked togethor with them to arrive at an alternative approach and cost that would produce the results that we wanted. There was no high pressure selling just honest communication and negotiation on process and price. The job turned out better than we expected and for the price that we agreed upon. S.S. Painting went above and beyond in their efforts to produce a quality job. We highly recommend their services and will use them again for routine maintenance of the exterior of our house and other painting needs.

They finnished the job today, and as always did excellent work, this is the 2nd time I used these guys and I will use them again in the future.

They were good listeners...They did what we asked as we had some specific requests. Very nice and courteous...They even came and worked all day on a Sunday to get the job done.

The project will be started in the near future. Will rate when completed.

S.S. Painting did a great job. Due to weather conditions the job was not completed when I would have liked. However, once the job was completed, the outcome was better than I expected. Thanks!
