I'm really disappointed in my service I received from Stan's Heating and Cooling. I had them come to service my pellet stove for the upcoming winter. They charged me almost $400 for the service call. Last night was the very first time I started the stove since it was serviced, and it still makes a horrendous screeching racket every time it tries to feed. The techs told me they had tightened something internally to address the problem, so I called them back this morning to tell them it's still making the racket. Got a call back from a lady who explained to me that they had come out to "service" it, but what I now apparently need is "maintenance" so they want to charge me another $100 to come out again. Their warranty is only good for 30 days, although I had no need to start the stove until last night, so that '30 day warranty' is exactly like no warranty at all! I'm in my 70s, on SS, and I feel like I'm getting ripped off. So, don't trust their work or their warranty.
