The workmen did high-quality work but I feel I was overcharged, $9K+ for a 12â x 27â deck + staircase. Neighbors are telling me it shouldâ ve been between $7K and $8K. Also a neighbor is telling me there is a code they did not meet in that upper decks are supposed to also have 2X4â s making hypotenuse of a triangle from upper deck to supporting post. I have not confirmed that is a code requirement but it makes sense for stronger structural support.

I was really surprised because they were using globes and follow the Covid restrictions. They were friendly and respectful. Also, they were very communicative and very responsive.
