Write a ReviewThe sales person and team were very easy to work with
Thank you, Sara for your 5-star review! We're so happy to hear about your experience and will share your compliments with your sales person. Thank you for choosing us and welcome to the SUNation Family!
Spoke with Sue from service department and she was extremely helpful knowledgeable and happy to help me
SUNation provides an education not just a sales pitch, I learned so much! They made the entire process easy.
Great every step of the way. They Kept me updated during the whole process. Clean install. Bryan was awesome! I would highly recommend.
They really promised a lot and failed to keep their word and promise in multiple aspects. I really do not recommend anyone go solar because it is not worth getting in debt and having a system that does not function as promised and has damage done to your roof. The first person I spoke to, Pauline promised a solar panel installation with a tesla battery. I started the paperwork and a few months went by then they changed Pauline as my rep to James, he scheduled my installation, and I did not receive a tesla power bank with my installation he told me that there must have Been confusion cause they do not normally include them in their installs. I was promised 120 percent of my home power production, but the system has never produced that much power for me, it did a little more than 70 percent, so I still pay around 60 dollars of electricity on top of the solar panels. They told me I would get exactly 12700 dollars of tax reimbursement so that I can pay off half of the installation. I got about 7000 and now have had to pay the difference on top of the 15-year loan. That 5,700 that I have to immediately payback, so there really is no saving as expected, and the 0 money out of pocket cost is a lie. They told me that if my ceiling ever had a leak that I would need to call right away and that they would send someone immediately. Today my roof started leaking, and they told me the soonest they would have someone out here would be a week. Both of my reps Pauline and James no longer work at sunNation. I have no one to go to for assistance, and their service is poor. I am really not happy with the decision I made with this company to go solar.
Scott, I would like to say what a fantastic job Greg and the crew did today with my installation. All of them each and every one of them were very kind, curious and enjoyed my olde English bulldogge puppy. He misses them already. Two of my neighbors just came over to see what a great job was done, one of which has solar and is pissed he didn't go with Sunation. Greg knows who I'm talking about lol.
This company came highly recommended to us as one the premier solar panel installers in Long Island so my husband and I put our trust that during these times of the pandemic, Sunation would do the right thing by following all protocols mandated by NYS. Unfortunately, on the day of the install, all but 1 of the 5 installers that showed up at my home ignored the mandate to wear a mask. One of the installers got sick with a stomach virus and instead of being sent home immediately by the supervisor, remained at my home, used my bathroom several times and while going in and out of my home, did NOT wear a mask or gloves. I ended getting sick and running to get tested for Covid-19 which resulted in being quarantined for 2 weeks after having gone back to work! My life was turned upside down because of Sunations inability to properly train its crew during these times....not a good experience at all. Their install crew needs to receive better training so they learn how to follow OSHA and Dept of Health guidelines during these challenging times. I have been reaching out to the company but they do not accept the fact that they did any wrong.
The SUNation team takes our work and our customers health seriously. The SUNation team has followed and is continuing to follow all NYState guidelines for working during the Coronavirus. Our team members wear masks and our trucks are santized and have santizing equipment installed. One team member had stomach cramps on the jobsite, most likely from bad food. That team member was at work the next day and was not sick nor did any other members of his crew become sick. Our crews have been trained to follow the NYState guidelines and we are continually monitoring them. We are questioning the integrity of your statement:
SUNation is a very good company. Thrir priduct is great and service is excellent - always there to respond to any question or concern.
Love my new Solar Panels, goodbye high PSEG Long Island electric bills. Lock in now for your Federal & State rebates.
The entire experience from start to finish was awesome they took care of everything and they were all very nice and polite
