Had an issue with my toilet. All it took was one phone call. SWAGS was there in 45 minutes. Identified the problem. Went and got the parts. And fixed it. GREAT EXPERIENCE. Service wrap was super nice and professional. :)

This is the best company ever! It started with my first call for service. Jaime (which I learned is one of the owners) answered the call. After listening to my issue (related to our sump pump which would not restart after more than two days of a power outage which caused flooding) he walked me through a series of troubleshooting steps to see if the pump could restart. He was patient and told me to take my time as I performed these steps. He indicated that he wanted to save me a plumber’s bill if possible. Who does this anymore! It turned out that a visit was necessary. Daniel arrived the next day and was very professional. Daniel got the sump pump working. However due to the age of the pump we discussed replacement. He got Dan, the resident expert on sump pumps, on speaker. Daniel and Dan went through options with me. By the next day I received reasonable quotes for two options. BTW I had another company come out before Swags and they immediately said that replacement was necessary and could not get the pump to work. The pump is used for our laundry and a bathroom so a working pump is crucial for us. It is still working while we determine which direction we’ll go.

The technician seemed knowledgeable and very nice. Walked me through the steps he took and was very kind to answer my questions. I found it very educational. I was happy with the situation when he left, but then sad/upset when I found that the issue still persisted afterwards. My fault for not being very educated about plumbing. Ultimately, I paid for someone to break through my ceiling to confirm it wasn’t a toilet leak issue (whew) but a shower one. Perhaps the overflow or something else. The session ended with me just watching the situation with a hole in my ceiling. When it began to leak again, I called the main line and the phone answering service couldn’t tell me if I had to pay a second time for a follow-up appointment. It wasn’t fully diagnosed the first time, so I didn’t want to be charged for a 1/2 done job. Never really got a full answer about a charge. I did get a follow-up call where there was talk of opening more of the ceiling. I was wondering if there was a less non-evasive way but apparently, the thought by the technical team was to break things open more. Thanks to YouTube, marshall’s/tj maxx where I bought a selfie stick, and my dad - we did the non evasive thing - used the phone to see further up into the wall from the ceiling hole and opened up the tub overflow. We broke nothing else but we think we found the problem. None of this was thought of by the technician! We stopped the leak and While the situation is partially fixed (drying things and fixing the ceiling), I am looking elsewhere for the final solution. Conclusion: I will call another company for further plumbing issues. Perhaps this place is good for some things like installing a sink, but I’d still choose elsewhere. THANK YOU, DAD! THANK YOU, YOUTUBE!

Response from Company:

Hello Nicole, I want to begin by extending my sincerest apologies for the recent lapse in communication. I am committed to addressing and rectifying the situation promptly. I will be reaching out to you by phone to gain a deeper understanding of the issues at hand and to ensure such lapses do not recur in the future. Best Regard, Jaime R.
