Swan charged me $315.00 for 20 minutes' worth of easy work replacing a vacuum breaker on a Watts Hose Bib. The parts cost about $5.00. THIS IS MORE THAN $300 per hour. I was a plumber so I know what this should have cost. I am 71 years old and was busy with my girlfriend's health I used Swan for a Furnace and water heater when I bought this home. BUT NEVER AGAIN!!

This review is mainly regarding their club membership which is supposed to provide yearly tune ups for your AC & furnace (twice a year Spring/Fall). They consistently cancel and reschedule the appoints so often that the tune ups end up being mid winter for heat and mid summer for AC. One furnace reschedule went from October to December. Today I received email and text confirmations of my appointment for tomorrow. Then I received a call asking me if I would like to reschedule to an opening today that had just become available. I let the rep know that I could not because of a previous appointment and that I would like to keep my current appointment. I was acknowledged and hung up. Minutes later my appointment was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and I needed to call back in. i got the same rep. When asked why I wasn't informed that my appointment would be cancelled if I didn't take the earlier one: we just had back to back emergencies come up (in less than 5 minutes). I was rescheduled to next week but decided to call back and simply cancel my membership. Again got the same rep. She cancelled without even asking why. They don't care. If you have big ticket item ($$$$) they will likely be on time. If you are just trying to get a tune up and prevent unwanted costly repairs (a big selling point for their membership), then you are not a priority even though you pay $240/year for the privilege of being consistently canceled and rescheduled. Not worth it in the long run.

Chris Hoffman was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. We had a toilet leaking from the base and he diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the wax seal and had the repair completed in less than an hour.
