SWAT Environmental

The SWAT team installed a system in July 2023 in our Potomac, Maryland townhome. Now, the fan is so loud that it required us to unplug the unit. For well over the past week, they have not returned any phone calls. I have since read many negative reviews about this company. So, I will reach out to another company for assistance.

Seems really expensive for installing a fan, only took 15 mins. But not any different in price then others. $700 for fan replacement.

We called several pros to come and give us an estimate when we moved into our new home. They gave us several options at varying price points and didn't try to upsell us when we didn't choose the most expensive option. The tech was on time and did a great job, and even made sure he cleaned up the whole space he worked in. Definitely would work with again.

SWAT was prompt and professional. The tech was knowledgeable about our remediation system, even though it is quite old. He fixed our problem quickly and did not try to sell us a new system. The price was reasonable. We were very pleased with SWAT.

Did the job completely wrong. Had never apologized or never tried to make it right. We incurred damages that they did not pay for and dealing with something as serious as radon, they placed me family in jeopardy as a result of their negligence and incompetence.

On time and professional work

After the installation and the tech left I noticed air holes in the silicone where the pipe goes into the foundation - when I talked to someone at SWAT it was first recommended that I fix it myself - after a somewhat testy exchange they agreed to have a tech come out and repair it - it seems fine now but the unnecessary angst could have been avoided with good customer service - technician Jordon who responded to fix the problem was both courteous and efficient.

Quick, easy and professional no problems.

They came quickly and overall it solved my problem but I had to provide long screws and a 3 prong plug with cord because the technician didn't have them. And each person I talked to was only willing to do 1 specific thing. It's as if each person is paid piece work for 1 task, and not paid well enough based on their attitude. But in the end they came quickly, solved the problem and had competitive pricing.

Most importantly, they showed up when they said they would.

Dustin was very professional and knowledgeable when he arrived. when I left for work and came back to check on things I found my toilet clogged. the field manager stopped by to inspect the work and relayed what happened.

Lance at the main office responded to my request for a quote right away and was able to schedule my appointment in 2 days. The tech was one time, did a great job and cleaned up after himself.

They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns.
