John abandoned the project after I paid half. Kept giving me an excuse that the brand new paver was missing a part. Then they stopped answering my phone calls. DO NOT USE!

Talks the talk but does not walk the walk. I should have listened to my gut. John is a con. Not showing up on time several times and not returning calls were just a start. Then the resurfacing job turned out horrible. Waited three days before driving on it and every turn made tracks. The two cracks he was supposed to fix lasted two weeks. I gave this guy a lot of time to make this right. Home Advisor should remove this guy from its choices.

I suggest Sophia writes the contract and do negotiating, not the husband.

Stay Away!!!! Asphalt Enhancements, which to our knowledge is owned by SW Griffin took a 50% deposit (which they literally took to our bank and demanded cash), removed existing asphalt and never finished the job. They will not return phone calls, and have done about 1/3 of work they have been paid for. It is actually going to cost us more to repair the damage. They originally said they were having an equipment problem but have not returned phone calls, text, or emails. Not sure they even have a license.

Do not use this company. They also have different company names they go under. They did have my job and left and can not get ahold of them. Would not recommend for anything.

This company did good work at a fair price. They started the job right away as they quoted me. They worked 3 days straight and finished as they quoted me. Good company to work with.

project: Cleaned and redesign Fish Pond at my residence. John is very nice and very informative about fish ponds. They work on their own time and i have had to call them multiple times. My pond is finished but i still have no fish that has been payed for. when you call the office the person that answers doesn't seem very business like. quote was a reasonable but final payment was a little higher. Keep calling about my fish for the pond. Just getting promises. John says he has not forgotten about me and my fish.

I hired this company to seal my mom driveway and mine. Her driveway was in great shape and only needed a nice seal. Mine however was in bad shape and I was told an excavation was in order. So that is what I went with. John came with contracts that my mom and I signed and he came and removed my driveway asphalt but never returned to complete the job. He put two coats of sealant on my mom's driveway and it looks horrible. I have tried several times to contact him on his cell and there's never a response. He was paid in cash for the jobs and has never returned a call or returned to complete the job. The last time I spoke with him on the phone he said the Paver that was ordered had been delayed from whatever and then when they finally received it, it had a broken part that would take 6 weeks to receive and then it could be repaired. This has been close to a month of delays and lies. I have been very patient but no one is keeping me informed of what is happening or when the job will be attended to. I trusted John because I have put my trust in HomeAdvisor that I believed vetted the companies they recommend to do the right thing and their best work. Apparently I was very wrong. I no longer believe this company has any intention of returning to my house so I will continue on with other means of action.

John started off good but took a quick turn to the worse. Wanted gravel removal, grass which I chose sod and concrete patio laid. He asked for 2500 deposit laid sod grass that turned brown immediately with little instruction to care for it except to water it. Busted up concrete, that John verbally said his work had not been very productive, Bullshittin they cut a slab of concrete and cut my power line to my garage, Ms. Sophie makes it sound like he cannot make any mistake and take a good time fixing. I cannot get into my garage, my lights do not work and guess who still has not shown up... Dan there so-called an electrician. Communication is horrible. Worker horrible. Would not recommend it. John took another payment and have not heard from him since.!

Did a good job of dirt removal. But when it came to giving me a recap for what I paid. He would not ever give it to me. Is he pocketing company money.

Great value for the money, very reasonable price for the job, John is friendly and informative, he worked very hard, project looked great and was completed as it was quoted, they do work on their own timetable and you’ll need to be patient with when work will be done but overall they were great!
