I feel compelled to share my concerns regarding the recent hiring decisions at Switzer's Cabinets in Riverside, AL. The individual in question, James Hubbard, Jr., is a convicted woman abuser, drug addict, and thief who is still in active addiction to fentanyl and methamphetamine. Despite this, he has been entrusted to enter customers? homes?sometimes alone or with a crew?by the owner of this small, locally owned company. This same individual has a long history of criminal behavior. As recently as five months ago, he destroyed the house he was living in by knocking out windows, stripping copper from plumbing and electrical systems, vandalizing property, and leaving drug paraphernalia throughout the home. He also destroyed two classic cars that were stored in the basement. Additionally, he is notorious for breaking into local businesses and unoccupied properties, stealing tools and valuables, and causing significant damage to plumbing and electrical systems to fund his addiction.
