"Since this is our ONLY negative review we have received in years I can use it as an example of how very important it is to fix the cause of the mold which in her case meant fixing the leak around her glass bathroom window in her shower. And in fact in DEC of 2018 she posted a 5 STAR Review referencing the smooth process and learning experience. I don't want to embarrass this client however not only did she Know she needed to contact the glass block co in Oct of 2018 and NO FURTHER RESEARCH was needed because we gave her several photo's showing the problem, (6 MONTHS LATER) in April 2019 she calls again. We sent a technician that also is a contractor to explain again if she doesn't resolve the water we can't prevent the re-growth. 2 months again goes by and the water problem is still not resolved. As for the part about us having the contractor start without contacting her... that's not even possible. It takes time to select materials, floors, fixtures, tile etc., agree to a scope, have a contract signed, agree to a start date, collect a down payment and order materials prior to any work start. We were there 10/12 - 10/23/18 which we did not do the rebuild and our focus with her was the importance of repairing the leak. I think what happened is because she needed to go back to her ONE Bathroom home she elected to do the remodel first and deal with the water leak later . In June when she calls again and the Glass Block Co still hadn't been out she asked us to call them. We did and after wards was told THE GLASS BLOCK COMPANY REPLACED THE WINDOW AT NO COST TO HER. We are unsure why she would say it was replaced at her expense, what that expense would have anything to do with us or would become part of a review of SafeHouse and then to further attempt to discredit us by saying we said we would come back again and treat and test her air and then not show up is simply just not true. But there were other things which occurred that caused us concern about her. She made accusations about a wallet disappearing only to admit to finding it after we inquired several times. One other event was she accused us of staining her bedroom carpet. Always going that extra mile to insure our clients are happy we have one of our regular carpet cleaners go to her home, pay them $300 to clean her carpet just to receive a phone call later from him telling me that she had her toilet replaced before we ever came to the house and the stain was old wax from that toilet seal. And finally to address the accusation that we not supply a copy of the original air quality test; when we arrived at her home the MVOC of mold (smell) was so strong testing to verify our findings would be charging her for something that was not necessary. And we never do that. In fact in our service area for Home and Business Owners we offer Visual Mold Assessment in livable areas at NO COST."
