He was great. I have already given his information to others whom are purchasing a home. He is very professional and knows his job. He met with us after he was done and gave us a full run down of what was found. Couple days later we received the inspection with full details and photos to add. He does great work.

Response from SafeTrust Home Inspections
"0.5! Outrageous- this is the kind of nonsense I have to put up with running my own business! This customer tried to get a free window out of me by claiming six weeks after the fact that I "missed' a cracked window on the inspection. I deny that I did but even playing devil's advocate what took him so long to notice? How did both Realtors and the Seller and the Buyer miss this as well? Very questionable."

They were on time. Had to reschedule due to weather and were very accommodating. They went right to work and were finished ahead of schedule.

Process started out ok. We were able to schedule inspection quickly for a good price & he arrived timely. It went bad after this. The garage door was open at his arrival - he did not contact the realtor & let them know & he had to do something to it to close it & it got damaged when they got home & tried to open it & he still hadn't notified them. He did work with the homeowner to get it repaired but it still shows some of the signs of the buckling. Then the report went through multiple delays before it was issued as well for various reasons. Then when we did receive the report, there was a discrepancy with that & other documents provided by seller. We asked questions regarding this & didn't get a response until after he read our review at least a few weeks later (Report Stated roof 2 years old & Seller Disclosure stated 10 years). It was seriously such a bad experience that i actually don't feel confidence in the inspection at all. The rate was good but not good enough for only getting the report so close to the end of our option period after the delays & with no time to get another inspection & lost confidence in the job he did. Taken individually the issues may not have been so bad but they definitely added up & then the lack of response on the question to the report was the final straw. Then when he did answer weeks later, it came with demands to remove my review & really didn't regain any of the lost confidence in the report or job performed at all. Would not recommend to anyone.
Response from SafeTrust Home Inspections
"1.0! Again outrageous. First I am not a Garage Door Repairman. I did not damage this door but because I was concerned about my business reputation (and was trying to do the right thing) I negotiated with the home owner and offered to "fix" the door - which I did to the owner's satisfaction. This reviewer bought the house "as is" and basically wants a free (new) door. Also, despite the fact that my TREC inspection report for her contained commentary, analysis, and digital photographs on many items like walls, ceilings, floors, plumbing fixtures, electrical, HVAC, grading and drainage etc. (the entire TREC checklist) she only focused on one "so called' factual error concerning the age of the roof and extrapolated that the rest of the report must be inaccurate. Strangely enough she didn't seem to be concerned about the actual condition of the roof(!) ?? (By the way I quoted the age of the roof directly from the Seller herself- I didn't just pull this number out of thin air) You can be darn sure I will never quote a home owner again in any of my reports! Finally, she got really upset that I missed a text from her and when I didn't respond to that text quickly (I did eventually actually) she reached the false conclusion that i didn't care. Let's see- she also had my email, my cell ph # etc. but didn't use those methods at all to try and contact me. Very questionable."

Scott Hill with SafeTrust was awesome. He was very sensitive to our schedule and got our report to us almost immediately. He went through and explained everything to us so there were no questions left unanswered. We are first time home buyers and he instilled the confidence in our purchase that we needed. Thank you Scott!
