Recently just relocated from Denver,Co to Ft Lauderdale, Fl with Safeway Moving. The team was outstanding! Mike was very attentive to the care of our valuable items and supervised his team accordingly doing proper inventories and such. As far as packaging was concerned these guys had it down to a very safe and effective system. Mikes team down in South Florida unloaded things just as smooth and efficient, they brought the proper tools to put our bed room sets and furniture back together. Highly recommend!! Thank you Safeway

I scheduled these guys for a long distance move (from Lone Tree to Grand Junction) and they canceled on me less than 24hrs before the actual move date. The moving specialist, Alexis, directly lied to me about several things. For one, these guys do not do direct moves in the same day. They take your stuff to a warehouse for several days and then deliver it at their convenience, Alexis told me this would not be the case in my move. All in all, it was an extremely disappointing situation to make plans almost 2 months in advance and have them cancel on such short notice. Please make sure to read all their fine print on the contract.

"Glenn, I fully understand your view and I am sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused but we will not allow our drivers or anyone else to be at risk on the roads. It would take our movers a few hours to load the truck and then you would want them to drive 600 miles which is approximately 10 to 12 hours in a moving truck on a good day which would put the movers at the delivery destination the middle of the night or the early hours of the next day. We are not authorized by the standards of the Department of Transportation to do this and honestly if we were I would not feel good allowing our men to work that way. I am sorry if the relocation specialist misled you any way - we have spoken to that individual and it will not happen again. We did refund your deposit- and at the time of pick up confirmation you were told the delivery time frame. We just can not work in a manner that is unsafe . I appreciate your comments and as any reputable company should we take them seriously and use them to improve our services. Thank you -Safeway Management"
