"Glenn, I fully understand your view and I am sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused but we will not allow our drivers or anyone else to be at risk on the roads. It would take our movers a few hours to load the truck and then you would want them to drive 600 miles which is approximately 10 to 12 hours in a moving truck on a good day which would put the movers at the delivery destination the middle of the night or the early hours of the next day. We are not authorized by the standards of the Department of Transportation to do this and honestly if we were I would not feel good allowing our men to work that way. I am sorry if the relocation specialist misled you any way - we have spoken to that individual and it will not happen again. We did refund your deposit- and at the time of pick up confirmation you were told the delivery time frame. We just can not work in a manner that is unsafe . I appreciate your comments and as any reputable company should we take them seriously and use them to improve our services. Thank you -Safeway Management"
