Months after our job was finished we received a pre-lien notification from CALPORTLAND that Salas Concrere did not pay their bill and were going to put a lien on our home for $3,186.08. After over a dozen attempts to contact and speak to anyone, we also stated in touch with CALPORTLAND who said we were not the only one calling about similar issues for non-payment by the company. We paid our project in full at the time of service. We were notified on 6/8/2026 that the mechanics lien in our home would be going into affect on 6/9/2026. Even with telling Aaron and his team this information they don?t respond and nothing was done. We are filing a claim with the contractors board and reviewing small claims options. Very disappointing.

We wanted to get a few prices for our pool remodel, so we had three contractors come out. Salas Concrete stood out right away. They called us back the same day, answered all our questions, and made everything pretty easy. They even came with us to the showroom to help pick out the tile and decking, which honestly helped a lot. They weren?t the cheapest, but they weren?t the most expensive either. You can tell they?ve been doing this for a long time. The crew was fast, communication was good, and it felt like they actually cared about the job. We?re happy with how it turned out, and we?re already having them come back in the fall to replace our driveway when things slow down. Definitely recommend Salas Concrete for pool remodels, pool decks, and concrete work.

Poor communication over all, Poor craftsmanship, they barried my drains that I asked on multiple occasions for them not too, very poor job overall, and this was on my brand new home at Riverstone!! Tjey said they would come by and fix the issues but never did! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I have tried multiple times to message Aaron with no resolve and he was paid in full! As part of his tactics they put a lien on your home to ensure they are paid! Beware!!!! ZERO STARS!!! Im still waiting for responses to my texts, and phone calls from months ago!!

We had several problems with their work. The guys messed up the steps. Tried to fix them and re-poured but they are worse than before. Terrible cracking around the pool edges. Salas may be good at flat work but I wouldn’t trust him with any high end pool work. Salas always said he would come back and fix it but two years later and it’s never been fixed.
