Salmons Heating and Cooling

I converted from Base board/ window air to heat pump and central air. I have a 2500 square foot 4 bedroom two story home. They did all ductwork, electrical, complete installation in four days. The price was 1/2 the cost of two other estimates. The work and customer service was excellent. Small family owned and operated.

I will always call Salmons â they were fast and fairly priced! Donâ t look any further...just call Salmons! They were so straightforward and did not come at me with some confusing and overpriced sales pitch. Others required an hour plus of time to just diagnose my needs, but Jack has so much experience that I was able to text him photos and a few details and he gave me a quote over the phone. We texted to coordinate time and they were there in less than 2 business days to install. Itâ s a family business and have been doing this for decades. An electrical storm caused multiple problems for my neighborhood, including it blow up something in my AC condenser unit in the yard. My regular HVAC company told me it was fried beyond repair, and should be replaced at considerable cost. Jack Salmon came by, found that only an inexpensive capacitor had been blown, and fixed it for $ 100 for labor and parts. This company is competent , honest and fair. I will be switching to them from now on.

Furnace went out Friday afternoon of New Years weekend. I was frantic! Called Jack and he was out within half hours. A I suspected, Furnace was dead (the smoke throughout the house was a dead giveaway. ) Jack called his workers and they had a new furnace out in less than an hours. They worked like crazy to get new furnace up and running (it was 12 degrees. By 4:30 we were warm. They did an outstanding job. I'd highly recommend them.

Heat was out on a Saturday morning, Called Salmon Heating and Cooling at 8am, Jack Salmon answered immediately and was at my home within the hour. It was a very minor problem but there's no way I would have known that, Jack brought the part in that was clogged and showed me what the issue was. It would have been easy for him to tell me a pump was broken and charge $$$ for it. Jack fixed the issue quickly and charged me only $150 on a Saturday call! He showed my boyfriend how to read the error codes on the unit and fix the issue if it happened again. True, honest, hard working guy. I would recommend Salmon to anyone and everyone.

They were professional and thorough from the quoting process through completion of the project. Integrity and pride in their company shows in all areas. We will hire again when its time to replace our lower level heating and cooling system.

fast response to an emergency

Great company, but we are disappointed with our new air conditioner. It is 85 outside, and our thermostat says it is 76 insi (even though it's been set at 73 all day). Our old machine would at least stay at 78 when it was hotter (that is why we wanted a new machine in the first place). I expected it to be able to keep the house cool when it is 85 outside.

Excellent work!! We had Salmons Heating and Cooling replace our Gas furnace and AC unit. He gave us the most competitive quote but we hired him because he seemed to be the most knowledgeable and honest of the 4 companies that came to give us quotes. They did an impeccable job - as promised and quoted. PLUS - fixed our humidifier that - as it turns out - was leaking, at no additional cost. PLUS took the time to fix a creaking floor board that was rubbing up against a vent in the crawl space. I don't know what to so.... except that I'd recommend them to everyone who needs HVAC/Furnace replacement or repair. Jack Salmons (owner) was on the job the entire time with 2 workers - all were very competent and pleasant to talk with. Answered all my questions about furnace, AC, ducts, humidifier, etc...
