Had a furnace emergency, and folks from Samâ s mechanics immediately fit me into their schedule and were great. Was able to fix the issue that day!

The worker was very pleasant as a person but took his time with diagnosing the problem, discussing what could and couldn't be the problem and also discussing what the options were. All of this was charged as labor making the total cost feel very, very high. He was thorough and got it fixed, but there was a lot of time when he was stumped or we were talking, all of which was charged. I am used to: worker a problem, then makes an estimate, then does the work for the quoted amount. Even if an estimate costs, the amount of time to figure out what was needed has never been charged at the full hourly rate.. especially not for just talking. Maybe I have been lucky in the past, but this felt like a steep overcharge, even including conversation time after it was done

Sam's Mechanical tried very hard to fix the problem with my old furnace before realizing it had to be replaced. They did the installation in one day and were always polite and professional throughout the process. Both their office personnel and the technicians were easy to work with and explained everything. A great company that I would be comfortable recommending to others.

Steve the owner came out to do the estimate and he spent a good hour going over everything in detail about installing a central air unit. The guy knows his stuff! Hired him and they were out the next week installing. Holly who does the bookings was friendly and kept me updated. Installers were professional and did a great job. Very happy with the company s service and fair pricing.

Steve reviewed my questions and relieved my doubts as to my system. Would definitely call SAM again.

SAM Mechanical was recommended at the beginning of a Natural Gas Conversion at my home. Having some HVAC knowledge, I knew the basics of the existing system (original steam radiators with a newer oil-fired furnace) as well as the work needed to convert to a natural gas - forced hot water set-up. After placing a general inquiry, the owner called to arrange for a mutually convenient time to cover the work needed for the conversion. During the walk-through, everything was explained in a clear and concise manner. Being relatively young, and a first time home owner, it was refreshing to talk to a contractor who truly cared about establishing a trusting relationship. During the conversion, the office and field technicians were helpful in coordinating and scheduling the days they were on-site. I always felt ‘in the loop.’ In the end, I can’t say enough about the quality and demeanor of SAM Mechanical. They are an honest company that takes pride in their work. TL;DR - professional, honest, and hardworking.

They showed up the same day I requested service. A second call was required since parts need to be ordered. I felt some replaced parts were not defective, but it works.
