Sand Free Pittsburgh is Wexford's local expert for refinishing your wood floors. We have been around for years, and with a name you can trust, why call anyone else? At SandFree we prepare your existing hardwood floor to receive a new coat of urethane without any sanding. Additionally, you can recolor your floor also. The entire process is dustless and sandless and all of the products that we use are child, pet and environmentally friendly. This is the same urethane that Brunswick uses on their bowling alleys. Be sure you are getting real urethane for real wood. The urethane product that we use for home owners should last for 6 to 8 years and is currently available in satin, semi-gloss, and gloss finishes. If you are a home seller, we have a less expensive product that will look great for a shorter period of time. We will also perform floor repairs, furniture movement, carpet and pad take-up is available. Please call us today for an estimate.

very easy to work with; floors still look great after 3 years. Although I had to pay extra, they moved and replaced all the furniture and removed and discarded all the carpeting. Eventually I will call them again to have my bedroom carpeting removed and the floor refinished.

The work was superb and the sanding was great. Just that when you called they wouldn't respond. They were very nice and professional just that I had some questions that would have been easier answered over the phone. Very good about clean up and would recommend to others.

I was impressed with Br1an and his crew. Within three days they moved 5 rooms and a hallway plus steps, of carpet, moved furniture, refinished the floors, applied the fnish and replaced the furniture. My floors look beautiful. In addition both Brian and Brandon were very informative regarding the many questions I had regarding the care 0f the floors and the movement of furniture.

Overall workmanship was poor. Wrong material ordered the first time. When setting up the next appointment, we had to chase them. After cutting old steps out they did not sand smooth the wood. Caulking used everywhere for poor quality cuts. When asked if they would clean up the caulking prior to staining, was told it would be done. Stain was applied to caulking and now we have patchy stain work. When these issues were pointed our, was told that they would be corrected. They left as quick as possible before addressing any issues

The team did a great job and were nice to work with. The only complaint I have is that the final finishing work, on the last day was a little hasty and applying finish had to be redone in spots. Even after that it should have been buffed so that there were no streaks. I took care of that part. They were careful and considerate in moving furniture and protecting molding.

Brian and his wife at Sandfree Flooring are incredibly helpful, fast and the work is great quality. Brian called me whenever there was a question and quickly helped me through each decision. He was able to replace the treads on the stairs unexpectedly. The floors look awesome!

They were professional inworkmanship and did a great job. My only comment from a visual perspective is that their equipment and vehicles show some age. Upon a first look they may appear not as professional as they WERE!
