It was a pleasure to work with Tomer and Roberto on this project. Outcome is great and things generally went as planned, and they are generally very accommodating and flexible with planning things and changes. Only thing to consider next time would be how long the project would take and put some boundaries on that, this took a bit over two months and was a bit over what I anticipated.

At the beginning of 2023, we began construction of our master bathroom remodel that necessitated good resolutions for several important issues including electrical upgrades, plumbing modernization and space creativity. We found in S&L Remodeling in Walnut Creek, the people and expertise that truly represented our vision. This remodel was coordinated by S&Lâ  s excellent representative Tomer Edelstein. His selection of craftsmen and builders matched our expectations for quality and fine finish work. We are delighted with the outcome. We experienced real expertise in the recommendations offered by the construction team, and their understanding and care to explain our unique circumstances and to offer valuable aid, was genuinely helpful and reliable. We are sincerely pleased by the overall performance of S&L Remodeling, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to remodel a kitchen or bathroom.

We hired S&L to do our kitchen remodel in 2019. It was an extensive job; a full gut remodel from the floor to the ceiling, including new electric work & subpanel, running a gas line, attic insulation, and new windows, as well as installing appliances, cabinets, sink, and countertops. Our project manager was Tomer. Tomerâ s team was a dream to work with: punctual, hard working, dependable. We were living in the house during construction, so it was very important to know exactly what would be happening each day. Tomer is an excellent communicator and he checked in with us frequently. We never had to wonder when or if the workers would show up. The crew was polite and considerate, easy to work with. We were very happy with the completed jobâ so happy that we had no hesitation hiring S&L again this year to paint the exterior of our house. We were able to relax knowing that the job would be completed on time, on budget, and with a professional attention to detail. Tomerâ s team made sure that we were happy with everything every step of the way. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the work. I would not hesitate to hire them again, and I recommend S&L wholeheartedly. We have worked with other companies in the past, and S&L is by far the best.

Supply chain is your worst enemy right now. Make sure whatever you order is readily available, or you could be looking at extra months to complete...

Tomer and the crew led by Daniel and Margarido surpassed our expectations from start to finish. Very happy with the beautiful complete update to our 1930s kitchen, as well as their thoroughness/attention to detail in delivering ahead of schedule. We would absolutely recommend S&L to friends and family, and would reach out to them first for the next project.

S&L is fantastic! Tomer, Eduardo and Renee made it all come together beautifully with so little stress on me it was amazing. S&L stands out for reliability and communication as well as the skill and quality of work. They were on time, on budget and kept me posted by text and pictures so we could keep the project on the timeline which was critical to me. They were creative with solutions to solve the surprise issues that invariably come with working on an old house. They did demo on the whole tiled bathroom and worked with me so the old toilet, shower, bathtub and light fixture could be recycled. That was important to me because I didn't want these materials to go to a landfill. The bathroom is beautiful and draws lots of compliments thanks to S&L. Highly recommend this company and this crew.

We just finished a kitchen remodel with S&L and could not be happier. We worked with Tomer, who kept the ball rolling. There was never any downtime and contractors and sub-contractors showed up when they said. The end product is beautiful and exactly how we envisioned it. The remodel was done in 7 weeks (!!) and on budget. From past experiences with other contractors it feels like we found a unicorn.

Tomer did an excellent job of project managing the following: 1) replacement of a bathtub with a walk-in shower; 2) replacement of the bathroom sink, countertop and side splash; 3) replacement of the door to the bathroom; and 4) replacement of the ceiling light/fan. He stayed in close communication throughout, beginning with providing an estimate and including applying for permits and inspections, and checking the progress of the work. Roberto came up with an innovative pattern for the shower tiles that I really love, provided good advice on the products I needed to purchase, e.g., the shower drain and the ceiling fan light, and picked the products up from Home Depot. He kept his worksite inside the bathroom neat and clean and made sure the pathway to the bathroom along hallways and stairs was also neat and clean after equipment and products were brought inside and taken to the bathroom on the second floor. I am highly satisfied with the work of S and L and plan to use their services again for my next home improvement project.

Tomer and Roberto have done a great job remodeling my entire house. The house has been completely transformed. It looks beautiful and functional. I appreciate most the quality they delivered but also the fact that they were always polite, accommodating and responsive to my concerns. This helps a lot as house renovation can be stressful with many big decisions to make. In terms pricing and pay schedule and scope of work they were fair and kept to the letter. I would recommend S&L for any remodeling project.
