S & S Remodeling

Derek and his team were incredible!!! We had a deteriorating deck that was built in the early 1980's that the team completely demolished and rebuilt exactly how we envisioned it and then some. I would recommend S&S to anyone in need of work! They were extremely professional, punctual, and very well priced. 10/10!!!

We used this contractor to do a bathroom remodel of our older (150+ yr. old) home. It had some unique issues, but Scott indicated he had experience in dealing with those kinds of problems. Some of the work he did was good but he made simple mistakes on the shower door installation which cost us additional money and extra 2 weeks wait time. The new lavatory drain line leaked. Also, the finishing work was sub-standard. We had to have another painter come in to repaint. We don't recommend this company for this type of remodeling job.

We hired Scott and Nick to completely remodel our main bathroom. They had to remove everything down to the studs, remove a cast iron tub as well as the toilet and sink vanity. I was quoted a reasonable price. We had to buy the materials. This probably contributed to some of the issues that occurred. Since we were buying as we needed we were forced to get wall tiles that were quite difficult for Scott to work with. The wall tiles aren't as flat on the wall as they should be and the spacing is a little variable. The floor tiles are the same not flat, some are raised a slight amount. Perhaps I am being too picky but I thought that both surfaces would be very smooth except for the grout lines. Scott and Nick worked very hard and showed up everyday as promised, I really wanted it to work out. The detail work was just not up to snuff. I would hire them again, just not for the finish work.

Scott did exactly what the scope of the project was contracted for and then some. He also pitched in and helped out with some of demo so he could start painting which was totally unexpected but very much welcomed. He told us of some of the challenges he encountered along the way but in the end did a fantastic job to overcome and resolve them. I would definitely recommend S & S Remodeling.

In addition to installing new backsplash tile in my kitchen, Scott installed a kitchen cabinet, over the range microwave, moved outlet for the microwave, and removed 2 old vanity bathroom vanity tops and replaced with new tops and faucets. He arrived on time and worked quickly and everything looks fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend.

Scott did a great job at a reasonable price. He arrived when he said he would and got right down to work. He did a beautiful job installing a new drywall ceiling in my bathroom. I would definitely recommend him.

They came when they say they would and finished when they said they would.

Scott did a nice job especially with the textured walls he had to work with. He was very accomodating with some additional minor requests, and offered some great suggestions for additional work we may have done.

Scott is pleasant; made helpful suggestions. I hired him for another job.

Respectful & courteous; finished the Job in a timely manner, as promised. Scott gives good advice; a definite go-to person for jobs round the house.

Scott did a nice job repairing my drywall and installing a new interior door, and repairing my shed door. His work was done in a timely fashion and he cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend Scott for other jobs.

Scott did an amazing job with our deck project! He hauled away all old decking materials included other construction debris unrelated to the current project (as a curtesy.) Scott was on time and had very good communication with me. He remained on budget and was very flexible with me changing a few design elements last minute and on the fly. Scott created a really beautiful deck that we will enjoy for years to come!! I highly recommend Scott and we will use his services again!!

Unable to prioritize work

Great guys attention to detail and interested unmaking sure I was happy with the work.

We were so pleased with the end result of our painting and repairs!. I would highly recommend S&S for any home remodeling! We would definitely use them for and further needed remodeling!

very poor detail work. Did not do well with trim work. I found a lot of drips of paint, some paint on the carpeting. I had to have him fix the bathroom 3-4 times as he had left drip marks (that are still there). Just did not do a very good job with detail. I painted my other bathroom myself and it looks 100% better than the bathroom he did and I am not a professional painter. I would not use him again because of this. He also went around my house pointing out other things I needed, like new counter tops, new kitchen cupboards, a finished basement. I am on a fixed income and am not in the market for these things. only wanted painting

Scott-- tore off my from porch deck and then removed the old lumber--Scott did the job in a timely manner-----I had a landscaper put stone pavers in place of the lumber ----daveh

I wish S&S was more into the project, the finishes would need to better and i know he was rushed at the end

S and S Remodeling did my complete bath to include tub/shower, vanity, flooring, fan motor, medicine cabinet, and towel racks. Their quote was considerably less than another. They did a great job! I will be using them for my 1/2 bath in the future.

Cory was very professional, hard working, never took a break and did a fantastic job. Thank you.
