They performed the job well. Had to cut the scope of work because it was taking longer than expected

I hired her for a spring cleanup of my yard. The price quoted was $100 which was twice what I have ever paid for same job. The price quoted for regular mowing/weed eating would be $50. I unfortunately went ahead and agreed. She did not write it down on her contract as a spring cleanup and she was upset I expected her to do it anyway. She did not like that I asked for her to pick up the sticks and leaves. She only wanted to do basics but for the double price? Had to discuss it a long while. Like a teenager I had to point out what was missed. She would not remove the leaves on the back porch or 12x12 deck. Only half the flower beds raked. Leaves and grass were blown to one section of yard and left. A stack of sticks left in a pile. Raking not finished around house. Not a professional cleanup at all. Then I was scheduled for an 8 hour house cleaning a few days later at 9:00. Got a message at 9:07 she just woke and was not coming. Overpriced and unprofessional.

Due to the situation involved I spoke with several of the HomeAdvisor references and S and Z Handyman Services was the only company that would do it exactly how I wanted it done with exactly what chemicals I wanted it done with. Not much to ask for when all you want them to use is ammonia and bleach. A cleaning service is not about Fufu it's about cleaning and sterilizing. It's not about the smelly pretty products that make it smell and look clean but isn't really clean. I am a property manager and my units have to be perfect after each tenant moves out. If it is not perfect and I have to bring in a cleaning company I expect the job to be done exactly the way I want it done. We are talking about making sure there are no possible allergens and or sensitivities that could be transferred to the new tenant. So kudos to S & Z handyman service for doing exactly what they were hired to do and doing it perfectly!!!

Erica did a great job. She was very responsive and helped me to work through issues that came up during the course of the project. I appreciated her professionalism.

The company takes great pride in their work. I was impressed with the meticulous approach to the job and very good quality result. I plan to hire them again soon for other projects.
