The owner sent 2 men to sand a deck 15' X 10'....he provided them with 2 hand sanders...he did not provide knee pads, dust masks, or a professional sander...The job took 6 hours in the hot sun (90 degrees) ...the men on their hands and knees...If the owner had provided the proper equipment the job could have done in 2-3 hours. This company/the owner was not prepared and is treating his employees badly. I did have another job but I didn't want to work with this guy and don't recommend him.....

My family ranch is at a remote location 25 miles from Santa Fe. I have struggled to get contractors to even SHOW UP and/or provide estimates/bids let alone do good work at fair price. I had an urgent repair of roof and a storm immanent. Jesus did everything the others have not done: came out for inspection promptly, made a fair estimate, put a man onto the job quickly, kept careful tabs on the work, accepted and implemented reaonable feedback on preferences and how to do the job better. I am looking forward to hiring Jesus for other projects that are beyond my own skill and scope. I, too, am still waiting for an invoice still, but that in no way limits my recommendation or enthusiasm for hiring the company in the future.

I rated the value for the money as a five because I actually had no idea how expensive the work is, but it seems fair and the work done is of high quality. I am pleased.

The technician was very responsive and had the job done the day after I called. The only thing I wish was done differently is that I paid at the end of the job, but have not yet received an actual invoice/receipt.

This project comprised several areas of brickwork on two portals, repair of two stucco-covered gate columns, landscaping of creek-stone drainage areas at the main driveway, clearing and replacing exterior concrete-block steps with brick, and repair of an exterior staircase to an upper deck. Several different workmen were involved at different tasks. Jesus maintained contact with all of his workers during the set up of the various tasks. Everyone arrived on time and we were able to discuss plans before work started. Santa Fe Construction did an excellent job, and we would recommend them highly.

They installed hardwood flooring + added a heating vent, and repaired my skylight - did a great, through job overall and high quality work. This was the fourth time we worked Santa Fe Construction and plan on using them for more projects in the future.

Did a great job. Showed up on time and completed project in a timely manner. Was neat and cleaned up after the project. Color of stucco was a bit off but the original stucco was discontinued so they matched as close as possible with a different brand. Would be 5 stars except for the crew climbing on fence/gate rather than using a ladder on first visit.

This company was hired to replace the ceiling in a bedroom, install drywall in the closets, and then paint the bedroom. I thought hey did a good job on the ceiling, I thought, but the rest of the job was not to professional standards. They didn't install a plastic barrier between the bedroom and the rooms leading to the bedroom, nor did they cover the furniture in the rooms leading to the bedroom, as promised. By the time they finished, everything was covered in thick construction dust. This included 4 sets of dishes in a trastero, and numerous other items in that were on top. I took me days to wash all the items, and the bathroom, hallway, and dining room. These are the rooms that lead to the bedroom. I had also removed a lot of items from the bedroom and put them on the dining room table, these were also covered with dust. I felt like Jesus had no respect for my furniture. I told him I would never hire him again, nor refer him to anyone. The paint job between the ceiling and the wall was a very poor job. I called Jesus and told him, and he wanted to send someone over to redo it. I told him I wanted him to come and see it, but never heard from him again. I hired someone from another construction company that had done some painting for me before. He charged me $150 to do it, which I don't think I should have had to pay for, but it had to get done. This person also told me the ceiling job was not the best. Sometime before they were done, I had a bottle of Don Perignon, vintage 1980, missing from on top of my dining room table. When I reported this to Jesus, he did replace it. Although the replacement was a 2006 vintage, which was ok. He had a worker that was very nice, his name was Valentin, actually his workers were very nice. I feel like I was very trusting. One day I had a meeting to go to and I told them I was going and left them here. Maybe they are better doing outside work according to the reviews
