Sapphire Pools

I hired Jerry to build and seal a privacy fence. He was paid in full for the building portion and did not come back to remove nails that did not go all the way into the wood and left nails protruding on the inside that I had to pay someone else to grind to prevent injury to my pets. He also upcharged to go from a drive-in gate to a walk-in gate of $400....for less material. I paid in full for the sealing, $882 on 2/16/2025. He repeatedly rescheduled and made up excuses, never did the work, and refused to refund the money. I had to pay someone else to seal the fence. This man is a scam artist. I have read reviews in many places that this is his MO. Scamming people by not completing work after payment. I filed a complaint with the BBB over a month ago, and he has not responded to them. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN or his company for ANYTHING!

Jerry is a very nice young man but I believe I might be his first customer to use his power washing business. My hardi plank is damaged with the the hot water he used but he says he will come back and paint. His bid was the highest of 3 bids I received but I gave him the job because he led me to believe he had the best equipment and could handle the job. He estimated the job would take 2 days and he was here for 5 days and job is still not complete. I sent him a professional bid that was from a competitor which totaled $1000 and his was $2000. He came down to $1600 which included my fence($250 est). Competitive bid was top to bottom everything included, windows and screens. When jerry said he was finished he said the windows and screens were not included or to have been removed which I removed myself. He didn't want to clean the screens but had I not removed them, cleaning the bottom of window seals would have been impossible. All the junk would have collected at the bottom of the windows between the screens and window. I asked him to clean the outside screened in porch which has a concrete floor and is attached to my house and has the same hardi plank siding. When I returned home this had not been done. In addition, all the junk from washing the walls had blown into my screened in porch which is filthy with debris, the screen, the walls and ledges and floor. Also all the debris from the roof and walls is now on my patio surrounding the pool. I called him this morning to discuss the situation because he had previously told me numerous times that he would come back until I was satisfied. On Friday when my husband paid him he said he was returning on Monday. Today is Monday and he hasn't returned my call or shown up and it is noon. He does have a problem with time management because on three different days he was 4 hours late on arriving when he said he would be here. I hate leaving this review and I willing gladly revise if he can make things right and live up to his word. Well, I am changing his rating to a ONE because when he was scheduled to return he didn't show up or call to let me know he had a family emergency. He was scheduled to show up around 9:30 AM and he called to say he was on his way and an hour away. He never showed up or called and I was very worried he was in an accident. I had to find his wife on facebook and send her a message that I was worried. He then immediately texted me to say he ruined his phone dealing with an emergency. I now have to pay a painter to fix my hardeeplank ($200) and have my house properly washed with chemicals and not hot water. I have many areas where the mold and mildew wasn't removed. Once again, I wasted money and was lied too by a contractor!

Jerald quickly and routinely worked on my pool following the Harvey flooding when my regular provider was disabled. He was knowledgeable and energetic, and immediately began a plan for machine recovery and sanitation.

I am not happy with the service I have received from Sapphire Pools. They did NOT clean my pool weekly and you cannot depend on them to do the job.
