Doug swapped out an old garbage disposal with a new disposal. One day after contacting him, he had the job done. He saved me 4-5 hours of frustrating work, several hours of high blood pressure, and I don't have a disgruntled wife, at least not about a leaking disposal. His cost was very competitive. If you need a new disposal, I recommend Doug, Housedoc.

I hired Douglas for a list of things that I needed done, I agreed to the price, the toilet that he worked on still overflowed 4 times, power washed the outside walls after I told him not to and some of the paint came off the walls, they damaged a garden statue, nothing was put back in its place, we are both over 80 and we can not move the things, I had to hire someone else to install the doors that Douglas did not put back up, and now I will have to hire a plumber to evaluate the problem with the toilet, I feel like we were taken advantage of because he took the check and ran, there are still items the were not done for the agreed price

Doug was great! Did all the projects I needed him to do and even came back the next day to fix my door lock, even though it wasn't his fault that it wasn't working properly.

Was not sure at the start but the time the job was finished I was surprised how well it went clean up the grounds after finishing,was a plus5 stars on that.Doug was very honest and will highly recommed him to others

Among other things, I hired him to refinish the shower floor. The directions on the product I gave him were very specific and he ignored them and now my shower floor is a mess. It has bubbled up and will have to be stripped completely and started over from scratch. I called him to tell him that I wanted it done all over again and he said he has a previous engagement and could not return for 2 weeks. He expressed no remorse at the terrible thing he has done for my shower. My shower is now unusable. I probably will not trust him to correct it. I probably will hire someone else and bill him. I am so upset that Home Advisor would recommend someone of this caliber. I would like to amend this review. It is now 4 months later and I was still waiting for this individual to come back and do the job right. Apparently he feels he has so reason not to and I am tired of arguing with him. The fair thing would be for this individual to reimburse me totally for the amount of money he took from me. Plus reimbursement for the materials I have to purchase to attempt the job again. As I told him, I have had a knee replacement and it is possible for my doing this job. Therefore, I am asking HomeAdvisor to stand by your guarantee and to get my money back and monies for additional supplies. I have ample pictures of the ruination of my shower floor to share on your web site. So, if your person wishes to contest this, he does not have a leg to stand on because of the amply visual proof I have of his horrible job. I understand that this individual has adopted a demeaning attitude with people who are not pleased with him, but hey, let him do his thing. He is wrong and again, I do not understand why the Home Advisor would risk their reputation by allowing this person on your site.

Doug was very knowledgeable and did a great job that included repairing the frame on an exterior door and replacing the hinges

There were 5 different jobs my main concern is the wall on the side of the home, where he put hydro- something and it dried black it looks horrible!He was here on time, he had a reasonable price however it is going to cost more to fix the wall on the side of the house that he ruined. So for small easy jobs I would recommend him like hanging a ceiling fan, if its much more than that, then no i would not.
