Ron and staff did excellent work. The crew was on site every day from start to finish as we were on Avery tight timeline. The project was priced fairly as well. The subs ( glass and granite ) were also efficient and timely. We are planning on having a second bathroom done in early 2022. I highly recommend Sarasota Remolding. Great job!!!!

Sarasota Remodeling and Design is the absolute best! My 2 bathrooms were converted from tubs to absolutely gorgeous showers. Many thanks to Ron Cantebury and his prompt response to my concerns and his expert knowledge of putting my thoughts together with his suggestions. Also Omar and all the crew who did an outstanding job. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with the outstanding job done.

I recently had my master bath remodeled by Sarasota Remodeling - headed up by Ron Canterbury. I am extremely happy with the final product I would gladly recommend Ron and his expert staff to anyone looking to get a nice job done right . There were a few minor delays during the construction but someone from Sarasota Remodeling was over at the house working on something most of the time. Ron and his designer Radka were a great help and took the original ideas I had for the bathroom and made it so much better. My initial meeting with Ron was a bit memorable - heâ s not exactly the touchy-feely type . He didnâ t hesitate to point out better ways to do things despite what I originally thought - and now I really glad I took his advice. Special mention also needs to go to Omar Mendoza who was Ronâ s jack of all trades - literally. Omar did everything including demo, floor and wall tile, and the installation of the cabinets, fixtures and lights. My thanks to all of them for a job well done.

Workers were efficient, accommodating and friendly. But most of all, they did a fabulous job. The work entailed more than a window install. They removed an existing door, built a block wall, installed a concrete window sill, a hurricane window and stucco coated the exterior to match the rest of the house. Interior consisted of Drywall and finishing same. Project was scheduled in a timely manner and our only hold up was the permitting process, which is another story which Ron's company had no control over the County permit process, but he handled all of the Counties pitfalls professionally and in a timely manor and all was well when the final inspection was done. I would recommend Ron Canterbury's company for any project he undertakes. He is available by phone when you call and he gets back to you with the answer in a timely manner. He is a professional in every way. As a retired contractor myself, I was impressed with the whole process. I would hire him again.

Ron Canterbury, the owner of Royal Palm, is truly phenomenal. He is a perfectionist--everything he suggested in the remodeling of our bathroom turned out exquisitely. Furthermore, he and his workers were always on time, worked beautifully and had the whole bathroom finished in a few weeks. The step beyond the normal excellent scheduling and workmanship is the very tasteful suggestions he made which makes the bathroom a showplace we enjoy very much. You cannot go wrong if you choose Royal Palm.

Regrettably, my experience with this contractor does not agree with the 5-star reviews on this site. It leaves me questioning the authenticity of these reviews. I was assured the job (small kitchen remodeling) was very simple and would take 3 weeks to complete. It took 9 weeks without any major changes in plans. Royal Palm, including subcontractors, worked about 1 day a week as an average, a total of 80 hours in 9 weeks. Carpenter was under high pressure to work fast, and as simple as the job was, mistake after mistake was made. Wall needed to be cut to accommodate new design. Being in an enormous rush to finish the job, the carpenter cut the wall in the wrong dimensions in every direction. Nothing was corrected. The back panel of sink cabinet was ruined when the carpenter cut big rough rectangle holes to fit in pipes without taking the valves out. Not a job any reputable contractor would have done. I wished I could attach pictures to show some of the work. Carpenter was not able to follow instructions (or didnâ t take the time to read drawings) and ended up installing and reinstalling the cabinets at least 8 times that I observed and they are still not right. Typical response to the mistakes was assuring â we will fix it laterâ or *it will look good when it is done*. While they did fix some of the issues, they had no idea how to fix others, or simply didnâ t want to take the time, and the solutions they offered were very elementary. Lack of communication was a major issue. The owner did not want to take time to discuss the progress as needed resulting in number of wrong outcomes, delays, and wasting not only my time but the workers as well. There was no respect for customerâ s time. Countless hours and days were wasted waiting for contractor to show up as promised who never came and no one called to cancel. While contractor always responded promptly to phone calls and emails, the answers often were insufficient or inaccurate. Most of the subcontractors were very good but unfortunately their part of the work was only so much. As an afterthought I would have been better off dealing with the subcontractors directly instead of dealing with Royal Palm whose presence only made the project more complicated and time consuming. When the owner showed up with invoice and was confronted with issues that were still unresolved, the ownerâ s professionalism turned into name calling, intimidation, and threats. There was no interest in discussing solution or to see customerâ s point of view. All around experience about the contractor was that of very haphazard, poor workmanship, do first - think later, disorganized, major lack of communication, and smile to cover it up. Promises made, were not promises kept. *An alternate truth* was common practice. The charismatic owner is highly experienced in sales but highly lacks skills needed or desire to follow up.

I hired Royal Palm for a master bath. Everyone was so great!!! Especially Eddy, Joe, Lorie, Ron, Tracy and James. They took it from scratch to something out of a magazine. Eddy and Joe designed it And I could not be happier. Everyone at Royal Palm was professional, considerate and very much like friends. I highly recommend them!!!!

Royal Palm Construction responded very quickly after a major plumbing leak under the slab of our home. Plumbing, tile work and general construction were done on time and on budget. Their employees were courteous and never left without cleaning up. I would highly recommend Royal Palm.

Great company with a reliable set of professionals that can do the entire job smoothly; they communicate well and get the right resource on the job site to make good progress. Final bathroom makeover result looks awesome. The final bill was within the quote. I would hire them again.
