Savis Construction - Unlicensed Contractor

This company and owner are outright criminals. Savis is an unlicensed contractor who hooks and baits people by luring them in with his friendly like manner. He will beat others quotes to get his claws into you just to rob and later extort you for money. Amirali will promise you his expertise in construction, give you fake timelines all of which is a scam. Him or his people do not follow California Contractors board requirements. He is uninsured, unbounded and unlicensed. He takes you to job-sites or projects that donâ t belong to him or shows you pictures of work he did not actually do. Has his family and friends post false reviews on the internet. I later found out that the reviews were fake and the latest one on yelp his own mother â Susan Mâ . I paid him $121,000 - paid his quote in full and he took our money, didnâ t finish the job, didnâ t get permits, left my home into a complete dump and unfinished and trying to sue me. Caused me to hire others to fix and finish the job almost doubling the amount of what we paid him. Claimed this job would take 90 days and it took him 6 months to leave the job-site unfinished as I fired him when I became aware that he was UNLICENSED. One year later I am still paying for work to be repaired / finished. He takes on new jobs - uses deposits to pay his people finish his existing jobs - then he tries to extort you into paying him more money later. The scam continues ones he bates in new people. He is leaving a trail of families in Orange County that have allowed this evil person to enter their homes and be robbed and defrauded from this shady character. Stay away at all cost he will charm you and seems like the nicest person. But he is an outright professional scammer. He claims to be your friend during the process but it is all an act. He has drained my family of money, stress, time and now legal fees. He gets review removed as he reports them as competitors.

I ended up having to pay almost DOUBLE what Amir Ali originally quoted me to finish the job. - He does not manage his projects or his crew. - He completely relies on his crew for quality control (which is a recipe for disaster). Nothing is checked or verified by Amir Ali. - His crew treated my backyard like a dump site rather than a work site. Garbage, food packages, coke cans, beer cans, napkins, and other trash were all over my front and back yards. - They left nails all over the street and my neighbor got a flat. When I told Amir Ali he simply said, well maybe they should look where they are driving and not park on nails.and I had to pay over $100 for an onsite tire repair. Amir Ali would not reimburse me for it. - He says he is licensed, but I found out later that he works with some other construction company that has a license. - His contract says he carries insurance, but he never provided me with a certificate. - Before I hired him, he took me to a beautiful house in Newport Beach claiming he did all the landscape work, pool, concrete, etc., this was not true, he only refurbished what was already there. - I caught him drinking Beer with his concrete crew while on the job. - The project was supposed to be finished in 6 months but took over 11 months to complete. - I had to fire Amir Ali from roughly 80% of the project because he and his crew were incompetent and were not finishing the project. - I had to pay close to $50,000 to another contractor to complete his job. - I paid close to $14,000 to Amir Ali for pool equipment. Later I was informed that not everything was ordered, nearly $5,000 of my money was gone, and I had to pay again to get the rest of my equipment. - His pool contractor purchased lights for my pool that is not 100% compatible with the main control panel and installed them crookedly. - The pool walls were designed by the pool engineer to be 12 thick, but one end of the pool wall ended up at only 9. This is not per the architects design. I hope the pressure of the water will not cause cracking or serious damage down the road. Of course, he said this is not an issue. - The pool equipment installation was not completed and I had to hire someone to fix it. - We had to pour concrete twice because the first crew was incompetent, water would pool at my foundation, drainages were wrong, and the concrete had too much water in the mixture causing very ugly dark patches. - The second round of pouring concrete (with a new sub) was not much better and ended up costing me tens of thousands extra. Now I must hire another contractor to fix that job. - His concrete crew damaged my walls and foundation spraying concrete everywhere. They never prepped my house to make sure that concrete stays off my walls. - My backyard hardscape is new, but it looks weathered and old, due to the poor workmanship. - His crew damaged over 140 of my roof tiles while working on the fade of my house. - His crew had to redo a simple 3 x 5 retaining wall 3x because they could not get it right. And they blamed me for it. Well, no one looked at any plans or asked me how the wall should be. - He installed a sub-pump for drainage that has major issues. - I had to test the drainage system that his crew installed because he never took the time to do it himself. Luckily, I checked, because there were mistakes. - His crew tried to bury electrical wiring under my concrete without any protective sleeves. - His crew used inside electrical wiring for outside work. I had to hire someone else to fix that. - His crew installed irrigation drip lines without filters. They all had to be replaced. - In sum, Amir Ali has a nice smile, is personable, and promises me the world, but then delivered a nightmare. I loved these guys! What a great job they did, they were efficient, made sure I was informed of everything they did and cleaned up my house after the completion of the project much appreciated. I would highly recommend

Professional, great attention to detail, respectful, diligent, provided recommendations to the requested project, called an hour prior to scheduled arrival to informed of delayed & obtain approval if possible to arrive at a later time. Definitely will call them again for additional project.
