"There are several things wrong with this review... 1. This is the second time this homeowner has posted this review. The first time it was removed by HomeAdvisor. 2. I do not, and never have, owned a Trump hat or shirt. 3. Even if I did, why should that matter?!? 4. There was never "in the client's face" propaganda spoken. 5. I believe the homeowner was heavily medicated from a recent medical issue and may not recall the events clearly. 6. During the initial contact phone call, I advised the homeowner of my company's minimum charge and tried to walk her through how to complete the task herself in order to save her money. The homeowner quickly declined and still wanted me to come out to complete the task. 7. While I was there, I offered to do a few additional minor things at no extra cost to the homeowner. 8. Prior to leaving, the homeowner was discussing several other projects that she wanted me to do, as well as signing up for our maintenance program. 9. See her review for Value for Money (1). There was no arm twisting - she agreed to the price I gave her PRIOR to my arrival and then slanders me for it. 10. My company's minimum charge is $225. I honestly think that she has me confused with someone else."
"It is unfortunate that there was a product failure however the homeowner provided all the products to be installed. When I requested the tile packaging or installation instructions, I was advised that he did not have them. Prior to the installation, the homeowner was advised that there was no guarantee that the tiles on the stair risers would not fall down due to gravity. An additional adhesive was suggested, and agreed upon by the homeowner, to use. It is not typical that homeowners provide materials, but when they do, contractors do not typically provide any warranty due to possibly inferior products, which was the case with this particular project. These tiles were budget tiles, to say the least. The bottom line is that the homeowner hired me to install his tiles with his glue, for a labor price only. I completely reject his statement of "they performed terribly inferior work". The true fact of the matter is that we installed a terribly inferior product with no product information to review. Furthermore, I too have a history of text messages that recorded my responses as promptly as he responded to mine. On December 21, 2016, I proposed a solution on the tile failure issue and received no response until three (3) weeks later on January 10, 2017, where he irately asked for more solutions. At that time, I was out of state on vacation and one week later on January 19, 2017, I received the final text saying he was hiring someone else and was demanding a $200 refund. The homeowner has been issued a check for $200 to settle this dispute (Check #3483). Installation of an inferior, customer supplied, product does NOT translate into inferior workmanship."
"Gutters were hanging to low. Water was flowing past the gutter during heavy rain. The job was to raise the gutters. The gutters were raised to there max without doing additional work (remove and cut the gutter guard down). Homeowner never expressed issues or dissatisfaction untill leaving bad feedback. Communication would have gone a long way."
